ALAIPAYUDHE READERS COMMENTS

FROM : RAVI, TEXAS, USA

Thaliva,

Ravi Shankar from Texas, Cresent (95, CSC). Hope you remember me ! Doing good and having real fun reading your reviews. That too from a person whom i know,

Office Vantha Piragu Coffee Kudipen
Piragu Lollu Express iye Thirapen (sorry i cant write Tamil English like you).

Read your Alaipayudhe review. That train experience is the best one Cresent, SRM, Barath guys can get in their Life. Machi i
really felt that we are missing them. I really liked the way you wrote your frank comments on our Train life. Thats the speciality of your review. I really liked 'Alaipayudhe' and I think PC Sreeram was too good. (Thaliva I know little bit of Photography). Antha Torch light was too good. Try to call me when you find time !

Ravi. (Porai My other Name).

Ora Kallakal ma. sirichu, sirichu vayre poonachu. send some money to consult a doctor (with a good insurance who has got a plenty of providers in NJ). it looks like either i will be sent out of the project or i get admitted in a hospital for my odd behaviour - laughing loud/alone in the cubicle.

oh my goodness. every time i get a lollu review, i think of taking a print to read at home. but i can't resist reading the review and get noticed by everyone for my behaviour.

thanks for the review and continue to do that. My heart feels as if i am in madras and reveiewing this movie with friends in the evening in a roadside place where we used to meet daily. your comments on the waiting on the railway station took my memory back to 84 to 87 where i used to do the same from kodambakkam to menambakkam when i was studying in AM Jain.

thanks to whoever gave my email address to your mailing list. thanks to you to keep my mind fresh on reviewing a movie like what we friends used to do a decade back.

thanks once again. keep up the work.

hi Prabhu,

As a sister of an SRM student i felt my brother retellling his train experiences from Nungambakkam to potheri. Just like you, my brother too travelled from nungambakkam railway station to tambaram and then to potheri ( I don't remmeber whether it was
potheri or kattangolathur ). He used to come and tell me of his hilarious experiences in the train. :):) ....i was reminded of them...if my brother had gone thru this review, sure he would have said thanks for bringing back those college days thru that review. Nice reading... Regards, Kalpana

FROM : DR. LAKSHMI NARAYANAN, NORMAN, OKC

Prabhu,
Cool review! Nowadays you have started praising all heroes and male guys in a movie! You like Madhavan so much and few weeks ago you wrote so ecstatically about Tom Hanks in Philadelphia!! What is happening? Satya, did you notice that Prabhu is kinda getting skewed?! The next time you meet him, you may stay a little away from him!! Also, he has totally derogated the description of your sweet dream Swarnamalya!! Sabash, sariyaana pOtti! Soda Sunder!! Start your job! I will watch from distance!!Narayanan.

Dear Prabhu,

I read your Alaipayudhe review. I am Ganesh working in New York city. Bharath 91-95 (CSC). A big time Lollu Express fan. Your review was just what i thought. In fact i enjoyed your review better than the movie. That Brilliant tutorial comparision was the best you have ever wrote. That was simply LE's touch. I was an instructor in SSI for six months and many used to develop 'Loveware' as you said in your review.

Your comparision of K.T. KUNJUMON with his fingers crossed was Touch of class and only LE can give such imagination. Do you know what happened to his movie. I think his son and simran were acting in it. I cant stop laughing. That torch light was too good, Pizza and Mambalam model Keep your good work and update your site frequently

Ganesh.

A nice review for a nice movie. I really enjoyed your review. It's a simple story with a very good screenplay. Photography & Music
is a plus plus. Madhavan,Swarnamalya & The person who has acted as Madavan's father - all new comers have done a great job - cool acting. As you said I pity Ajith for marrying Shalini. Maniratnam after a break has given a very good movie, but he should have avoided some cinematic handling here & there. For example, the house in which they stay, that was too much, though he would have thought it is creative ?? or whatever & I think the movie was dragged a bit in the climax. Other than this, It's a well taken movie. Your picnic with thayir sadam & puli sadam & Torch lights for PC Sreerams movie .. Good one Prabhu. You are very spontaneous in your comments. And Suddenly you've started giving advices also in your comments. As others said you started liking Madhavan, Tom Hanks, & you wear chudithar. I don't know, Take Care!! Good work & Keep Going!

Machi quite a big review by u...It's a normal film with a slight Maniratnam's touch...Esp in the climax...The total story just revolves round with the two people...u have taken madavan to great heights For sure he is even better looking than Ajith and Vijay , acting is also good...But i don't know why he keeps smiling( Elicha vayan) always...

Dai ethu romba da...

"SWARNAMALA looks exactly like this. Take TWO BIG POOSANI KAYE. Place one Poosanikaye above the other one. TAKE TWO Sorakaye and fit it as hands and TWO more small Poosanikaye as Legs" This is better....Take one apple cut it into 2 pieces that makes her cheeks ...take plumbs and fit it as her lips...Machi Sathya ethu pooduma...

SWARNAMALA is cho sweet...She is better than that sappa kaka Shalini...

I don't know y madras is shown worse than it is...esp the railway station, trains and even houses...

And For sure this film would bring pleasant memories for those who went in train for college ...I remembered the days in which we use to go to S.R.M and as u said jollufy all the females...

"Even we did a FASHION SHOW in our college in "PREMONDADA STYLE". We got some SAMIYAR DRESS from KODAMBAKKAM and walked here and there in our COLLEGE CULTURALS"

Machi I cannot forget that...Superb galeej in that culturals...And i know the dance was cancelled in the middle due to over gallej...And that too the Permananda role suits u perfectly...

Great job...In this review u have explained about love more than Maniratnam in this movie...

dear prabhu,

An usual story without having any specialities from Maniratnam. This film is not like Maniratnam's film , sounds to me like a C.Sundars films with some special effects.

Hey prabhu,

The comments about the movie is simply supereb. I think Madhavan is like Hritrih Roshan of mumbai. Hritrih Roshan's Kahona Pyaar hai is superduper hit, simlarly like alaipayuthey. Mahadevan is unlike of all heros, (all other heros who show some stunts, some hilarous look). He is supereb. The story line is similar to Mouna Ragaham. Not much difference in the approach. HE is like karthik in mid 80's.

I like the movie due to songs.. Ur comments are really good. The way u express
ur comments are really great.. Keep it up da....

Your review of the film Alaipayudey is really fine. I too saw that film and enjoyed it very much. Hope you would have heard the songs from the film Kandukonden kandukonden. All songs are simply superb. Shankar Mahadevan's song Enna seiyappogiroi is excellent. I like the way in which you review the movies. Keep in touch.

Hai prabu,

i'm senthil from kansas city.

I read you LE comments and enjoyed it thoroughly. Your comparisions of telugu movie fathers to mount road b.milk men, shalini to ice more girl are all great. The peak is vat-69 and pri.pickle.

CORRECTION

In your Alaipayudhe review you have mentioned about an MS return, actually that character says he is doing his post doctrate or
something like that in medicine and i have seen many tube-lite ballies who do graduate studies here. Even I was like that in my MS days here, 3 years back, but now after gym, tennis etc, i've built my body like madhavan, though not likeschwazneger. By nature i'm somebody like you, making fun, comparing and a humorous person. I would like to join your LE circle.

SATYA A GREAT SWARNAMALA FAN .... His views on Swarnamala ....

English Peters please excuse!!!!

OOOOoooooooooooooooooooiiiii, Eeeeena da eena.....How dare you call my Swarna, a pumpkin. Magane, Dangu vaaru arundhudom. (Munjile yen kaia vaekka). My adiyals ("Quarter Govindan, "Torture" Dharma and "Half-Boil" Arumugam) will be reaching your place anytime. She has "ALL" the neccessary "Items" that a female should have. MAGANE, you will appreciate Rambha just because she shows you her thighs and "K..." but not swarna, isn't it?? Dei, Swarna will not expose because I have asked her not to. I have asked my parents to talk to her parents and she will be my wife soon. For guys staying in Columbus, please vacate your place or move to safer areas as there will be a soda bottle fight there.

HOW THE HELL, CAN YOU SAY THAT SHE IS FATTTTT?????? I think you don't know about "Soda Sundar".... I want a reply from you about this. Seri, As my guruji (Dr. Narayan, if you are not aware) had mentioned, you seems to be talking more about the guys. Recently, you said Denzal washington is the sexiest man, what's wrong, buddy?? You also have mentioned about having fun with some guys on saturday!!. I think you have "RODomania". Better consult Lion. Kalimuthu or have frequent doses of "AndaKabala Legyam". Lollusatya.....

Folks, These are a few things that you should observe after prabhu's review [You need to be a girl to qualify....]

1. Always start with "Nice Review" or "Excellent Review"
2. Use words like "Rolling with laughter", "Stomach ache due to laughing" etc
3. Don't forget to write "Nice Imagination" (Though very weird sometimes)
4. Also "It made me remember my college days" (Very important)
5. Last but not least "Prabhu, YOU ARE THE BEST"
Hope you all got it!!
If not, consult with Suha, She has won it several times.
Lollusatya.....

Lessons learnt from a tamil film!!! Alaipaayude!!!

1. Never miss a marriage of your friend in the village because some city figures do come there and they may or you may get interested in each Other.<BR><BR>

2. Never ask a stranger about a girl unless you are sure that he is not her father.

3. If you travel by minsara train please look out of the window ;-)

4. All software engineers think logically ..[or atleast they think so] otherwise how would you end upto 70 females from 3.5 million?? [and they have a couple of them as friends who would agree to this logic]

5. When you first meet your girl and she shouts at you and asks whether you have no other work, take this word:" that is the
best sign a relationship can get started with" and don't forget to speed in the beach shouting at the top of your voice "Ava enna thittita!!!"

6. The easiest way to let your parents know your lover is to invite her to your house and inform others about your plan.[and she should know to sing "alai payuthey" with a voice like Harini !Guys of HFC remember his point!]

7. When you say "I love you" try to know what it means because girls now a days expect you to know what it means.. [Hero : "I Love You" heroine : "appadina" ??]

8. Never let your parents to go and do the talking! They spoil it up.

9. When a girl says about 20 weeks and 20 months logic wrt lover and parents don't worry, she would be the first one to
defect!

10. When your daughters suddenly wear gorgeous Saris please be sure that she is either going to her kadhalan's house for a
function or getting thiruttu married.

11. When you do a "Thiruttu Kalyanam" get Rahman to sing his version of "Mangalyam Thanthunane" since the old version is
considered unauspicious in such occasions!

12. Even marriage registrars are happy about "thiruttu kalyanams".

13. Your house owner is not worried about you working in a software company or an underwear company ;-)

14. When you hug your wife's sister [for reasons of your own] make sure your wife is not in the vicinity. Your
wife's husband wont mind though.

15. There is some "Ilicha vaayan" Software company in California who would give a $2 million contract to a
software outfit in Chennai with a staffing of 5 to 6 people.

16. If one of your friends or brother go for "Pen Parkkum Padalam", go with him since she might have a younger sister
who might "not" be married

17. Even Doctors are caught up in the TLA [Three Letter Acronyms] frenzy .. They have their own TIG [Trust in God]

18. After Doctors say TIG, it is finally the lover crying in the bedside which would finally let the patient come out
of Coma.

And finally the message of the film :
When you talk to your girl please add this line : "Nee alaga illai.. nee illama vazha mudiyathunnu ninaikkale .. aana please road cross pannum pothu paathu cross pannu"
