"Acting King" Mamooty, "Mike" Murali, 'Super Figure' Sneha, Abbas, Devayani, Sree Vidhya, 'Delhi' Ganesh, Shyam Ganesh, Vijaya Kumar in a new family oriented Super hit movie "ANANDHAM". Music by S.A. STORY:
'Anandham' is yet another movie of outstanding story, Great acting, No Over Sentiments, Sweet Songs and a good direction touch by the new director Linguswamy who has gained considerable experience from Dircector Vikraman who gave 'Vanathai Pole' to us. Although "Vanathai Pole" was 'Touch of Class' movie few felt that the movie was overloaded with 'Sentiments'. 'Anandham' answers to all those who felt that 'Vanathai Pole' was overloaded. I want to thank 'Mamooty' for his outstanding performance in this movie.
A very happy family in a village and "Mamooty" is the elder brother followed by "Mike" Murali, Shyam and Abbas. Sree Vidhya is a
typical
"Mom" who is looking for the best Female for her Elder
son. All her dreams is filled with her Elder son's marriage,
Grand Son, Grand Daughter etc etc. Whichever female she sees in
temple, Bus Stand she dreams that female like her Daughter-in-law.
'Delhi' Ganesh is a typical retired Dad who is always
with his family and his wife Sree Vidhya. The initial scenes were
really sweet. "Mamooty" just ignores and doesn't want
to get married soon as he always thinks about his mom, Dad and
Brothers. Its basically a ' Family Love War' without
Sentiments which is the biggest (++++++) in this
movie. All that Mamooty thinks is about his family members and he
fears that a new female who enters his house might show some
partiality in Love. Devayani enters into the family as "Mamooty's wife as he thinks that she would be the right female for him and his family. Sree Vidhya comes out with an excellent performance after a long time. One must see her when "Mamooty" accepts for the marriage. The movie runs and the family become rich as the kids grow and gets a good degree. Meanwhile a 'BUS STAND' Love develops between "ABBAS" and "SNEHA" daughter of Village Panayar 'Vijayakumar'. The Love becomes more deeper as one day ABBAS gives a Bike Ride to SNEHA on a "BANTH DAY". You all know on a BANTH day there will be no Bus and our guys utilize this time and Pick Figures back home. Normally this is how "LOVE" develops. The female who rides will think "How nice the Guy is and develops LOVE". So guys be ready with your Bike when ever there is some thing like this or else you are going to miss something. I dot know why someone wants to go to College on a BANTH Day. They both sings couple of duets and Vijayakumar happen to know about the 'Bus Stand Love' and he gets mad. In the meantime ABBAS get a new job in DELHI and he goes there to DELHI.
As the family become rich Sree Vidhya's relative volunteers to give "RAMBHA" for "MURALI". Confusion starts as Rambha creates unnecessary problem in the family. You all know what will happen if Two females get into a Big Joint family. Unnecessary Fights for Milk, Bread comes and "Mamooty" starts to feel the pressure. Time Comes when RAMBHA understands how much love they have on their family and ABBAS returns from DELHI and ignores SNEHA as his Dad has threatened him not to go near his Daughter. I don't know how
one can Ignore A
good figure like SNEHA!!! At last VIJAYAKUMAR puts
a condition for the marriage that ABBAS needs to be in his house
after marriage. MAMOOTY agrees and ABBAS rejects in the marriage
hall as he didn't see his family members and at last as usual the
movie ends as Vijaya Kumar realize how much love everyone has on
others! MAMOOTY:
90% of the credit goes to Mamooty. People cannot say that the movie is over sentiment one. Mamooty acts without much dialogs and in many cases he just shows facial expressions and makes us understand what acting is. His great performance in many movies is a good example of how good he is in acting. You cannot say that "Mamooty" has did wrong even in one place in this movie. I would love to see him in lots and lots of Character roles like this. The specialty is acting with his eyes. Murali Comes in this movie without mike and a Sad face. He is the only hero in the History of Cinema who does Not know how to Love. Fortunately Abbas was not given any chance to Act. As usual he comes and goes.
"SUPER FIGURE" SNEHA:
Lack of good Heroines is a biggest problem in Tamil. Making Heroines from Bombay to act in tamil movies does not give good essence to
the
movie. Sneha is simply superb in her Looks and acting. Just the
kind of Chick we are looking for. She has a great Appearance,
Good acting and she is just the kind of female we are missing in
Kollywood. There is no doubt about how she can perform as
"ENAVALE" proved that she is good at
everything. In this movie she was not user properly. I would love
to see her in many movies. She is good at everything. Especially
her Eyes are like OOTY grapes!! So guys Enjoy!! Superb

The movie is something similar to Vanathai Pole. The theme is just the same. VIJAYAGANTH came out with a great Performance in that Super Duper Hit movie. I liked that movie very much but people felt that the movie was overloaded with Sentiments. "ANANDHAM" is similar to Vanathai Pole without Sentiments. An excellent theme. People who are fed up with Joint Family concept needs to learn from these movies. These days it has become a fashion that after marriage they need to go out of the family and live individually. There is an unnecessary Fear that is created that "MAMIYAR AND MARUMAGAL" are there for fight with each other. If you think positively its not the case. They can be like Mom and Daughter. Why is that there is always a odd feeling about this wonderful relationship. Many said that I graded more for the movie "VANATHAI POLE" and I always had a very strong argument with folks who said that. Its a movie made many people to cry our of Love. Especially the scene in which PRABHU DEVA gets his Doctor degree and VIJAYAGANTH will be pushed by a Watch man thinking that he is someone else and PRABHU DEVA getting him on stage and introducing to his Brother to Crowd !!! People say that its over Sentiment. Its not for sure. Its the way of showing how much love a brother has. Once in a while Movies must be made like this to educate people. I am pretty sure after "VANATHIA POLE", "ANANDHAM" people who fight with their family with think for a while! If you do so that's where the theme has reached the people and for sure "ANANDHAM" has did that. I need to Appreciate Directors like VIKRAMAN, LINGUSWANMY for giving positive thinking. People learn easily from movies. Especially when actors like MAMOOTY can give a great feeling of what the movie is about it adds more weightage. If you get a feeling that MY FAMILY must be like the FAMILY shown in this movie then "ITS THE SUCCESS" for that movie. For sure "ANANDHAM" gave me that feeling and i bet it will give it to everyone who watch this movie. Wonderful acting by artist adds on More weight to the movie. The movie is already a super duper hit movie and it gets 80/100 for a wonderful theme.
