New Face "SIDHARTH" , New Face "HARINI", VIVEK, A.V. Ramanan in a new Tamil Movie "BOYS". Music by A.R. Rehman And the movie directed by "INDIAN" Fame Shankar. Enjoy my review on Controversial movie BOYS.

STORY:

Shankar Known for his Super hit Quality movies that rocked everyone in Tamil Nadu like KADALAN, INDIAN, GENTLEMAN, MUDALVAN etc is back again with a Light College Love subject with BOYS. One would expect a lot from a Director like SHANKAR And the comments I heard about BOYS was "It can pass on as a below average College Love story with a Mix of Cude Dialogs And Way "Tooooo Muuuuch” Scenes which cannot be watched with Parents. After watching the movie I think it’s true.

The movie starts in a very sweet way like any other Shankars movie. Five College Students from different Family background Spends most of their time stilling in a Wall and Passing comments for anything and everything. Their only aim in their life is Girls, Love, and Fun. They Breath Love, They will do anything to get a Girl Friend. In their Life enters HARINI a sweet college girl. As usual when there is one girl and five guys All Five of them fall in love with that girl. The initial scenes in the movie show how crazy college guys can be going behind girls. These days the only thing most of the college guys do is do a Good Watch man job. They spend most of the time in JOLLUFYING the Girls than studying. The concept of TREAT, FAST FOOD, LIFT, BIRTHDAY is more than spending time On Semester Exams, books etc. The biggest qualification a College student can have today is Girl Friend than a University Rank. If you go to any college today Everyone and anyone will have a BOY FRIEND or GIRL FRIEND. Apart from all these things there are Dance Floors all over and It has become fashion to pick a girl in their Bike and Take there around and stop in an Ice cream show and "KADALI POTTUFY" for Hours together. Most of them I would say 95 % of them are interested only in the above! If anyone who does not fall under the About will be called as "FRUIT OR PAZAM OR GANA PAZAM" etc.

Coming to the story, the heroine HARINI starts to move with the guys. Then the heroine introduces another five Girls to the guys. This is what is happening these days. There will be a Girl and Guys will be around her. Unfortunately She cannot LOVE everyone. She will say I am like Your Sister and I will help you find some other girl. This dialog is just to Escape from her Lovers Friends. She will introduce her friends to them as she is already booked (In Love). This is what Is happening and SHANKAR has shown it in a very nice and cinematic way in his movie. Then all these Gang will hang Around together!!! For God sake there are no more Computer Training institutes that are open. This is what guys used to Do saying that they are learning computers and software’s. There is a new concept called Dating these days and guys Are enjoying these days!!! After a while the Parents in the movie comes to know what their kids are up to. The guys gets Pissed off with their parent actions and gets out and starts to live on their own. In the Love ball game one guy among the Five succeed in capturing HARINI's heart and marries her in Tirupathi. These days Getting married is also very common. Most of them get married and live their Life like CHINNATHAMBI "KUSHBOO". The movie then revolves around "Munna" the hero and Harini. How difficult it is to lead a life without money and Parents support. They then start their own Band and there are few twists in the movie. The heroine goes back with their Parents knowing about their Past life. They then gets an offer from SONY to release a audio tape and they become a Well know Music band and leads their life happily from then.

SIDHARTH, HARINI:

Five new faces and a new Cute Heroine are there in the movie. All the five guys are Typical Madras College guys. No one is looking great or Like a Model. HARINI looks cute in Modern dress and not good in Traditional Dress. VIVEK has less to contribute in this movie because he comes as an advisor more of the Time. A.V. Ramanan addition is a good change. Other than that nothing special to say. All the guys have did A very good Job in Dance actions.

LOLLU COMMENTS:

The biggest Plus to this movie is Songs and A.R. Rehman's music and Picturization. The movie lags in many places And a Good Song comes and lifts the movie. Although the story and Dialogs were way too much for People to Agree Songs in the movie is really a big boost. The movie shows unwanted things in many places. The first song in The Movie "BOY FRIEND" is a class song and is one of the best song that I have heard recently. A. R. Rehman Is in peak in this movie after a long time. After all the Hype they gave SHANKAR has disappointed all of us with His less than average Movie "BOYS". Everyone expected an INDIAN or GENTLE MAN for him and what we got Was way less in Quality. The movie is a good one to watch with your Class mates or College mates but not good When you watch with your parents especially in India! The movie clearly explains what most of the college guys Are doing these days (CHATTING, INTERNET, TREAT) etc is what they do now! The movie gets 40/100
