"DHEENA" New Tamil Movie Review by "Your Prabhu"

"SWEET HERO" Ajith Kumar, "LADDU Kutty" Laila, "KERALA HOT CHIPS MASTER" Suresh Gopi, Sriman, Balaji in a new AREA DADA movie "DHEENA". STORY:

As People are fed up with "PANNAYAR and VILLAGE" subjects "LOVE" is the only theme in movies for a long time especially for ROMEO BOYS like Ajith, Prasanth, Madhavan etc etc. DHEENA is a different movie for AJITH as he is "Pettai Rowdi" in this movie who hears to his Step Brother "KERALA CHIPS KING" Suresh Gopi. All that he does is Cut Hands, Break Legs, Bite Ears, Crush Nose of Rowdies his Brother Says. Before going to movie I was really confuse how a Lover Boy like AJITH can act as a rowdi in a movie. But after seeing the introduction scene of AJITH i was really happy that "Ajith" was able to act like a rowdi.

The movie is a full fledged one with lots of spice. One must really praise the new director for giving a good mixture. AJITH gets introduced in the movie like JAMES BOND 007 with a fight Sequence and a Song with NAGMA having BEER and singing about "CHEETA FIGHT" VATHI KUCHI. The Romance between AJITH and LAILA was very sweet and funny. She meets Ajith in a Bus and thinks that he the Bus Conductor and asks for ticket. A BUS TICKET LOVE Develops between Ajith and Laila. Soon She meets him in a Market and thinks that he is a Vegetable Seller and in a Pizza Corner. That's it. As you all know When a Young guy and Young girl Meets Three times Automatically LOVE develops. It all depends upon how you develop from that point. Few guys spoil it saying that "I AM LIKE YOUR RAKHI BROTHER", Few Say that "YOU ARE MY SISTER" and waste the rest of the time tying RAKHI, Going to the Females house playing with their Pet dogs etc etc. Only few say that "I LOVE YOU" and enjoy going to Besant Nagar Beach, Miami Beach etc etc. Ajith and Laila belongs to the third category and sings Duets, Eat ice Cream, Watch movie in theatres.

Ajith is also a Good Son for his mom and a Good Brother to his Sister. He gets her all the things she asked from her childhood like "Golusu" which she asked when she was 4 Years old, "Pavadai Sattai" which she asked when she was 8 Years old and a "Dog Chain" she asked when she was 12 years old and says "Senti Dialogs" like Now i have money I can buy it for my Sister and cries seeing at her "Thangachi" like T. Rajender does in "EN THANGAI KALYANI". The only thing that was missing was that

Imagine AJITH singing Senti songs for her Sister with DADI HA HA HA HA !!!

Meanwhile he goes and cuts hands of a Local Politician as his Brother asks him to cut his hands and at the same time the LOVE between AJITH and LAILA grows like anything. LAILA says that she likes guys who fight. AJITH who was pretending like a FRUIT to her opens up and Smashes few rowdies who takes off "DUPPATTA" from LAILA and says that "WOMEN WEARS DUPPATTA FOR GUYS TO TAKE IT AND USE IT AS HANKIE". Laila's action was really cute when Ajith removes a Big Knife, Cycle Chain, Iron rod from his dress. The expression she gives saying to her friend that he always roams with 4 KGS of Iron in his body was really funny and its "LAILAS SPECIAL"!!!

Ajith sister Falls in LOVE with a Guy who live in the same Colony. Its a serious Colony Love and she really fears to tell her Love to CHIPS KING but says to his Small brother AJITH. Later AJITH comes to Know that the guy is LAILA's Brother. Ajith Promises that he will conduct their marriage. But unfortunately they both She dies in a car accident getting a promise that nothing must happen to his Lovers family as his Big Brother come to know about the COLONY LOVE. As usual "HOT CHIPS KING" Suresh Gopi orders Ajith to cut their family into pieces. AJITH says NO and the interval comes !!!

From that point AJITH prevents LAILA's Family from his Brother's Adiyals. Lots of Fight sequence becomes and goes but everything was enjoyable. Meanwhile SRIMAN and BALAJI joins AJITH for some more comedy. They did a real good job making us laugh. Especially when BALAJI says that his LOVE is a failure one and someone says that "You have to LOVE Some one who LOVES you" and BALAJI replies that "Do you think that I am SHARUK KHAN or SALMAN KAHN" and as if I am saying no to MANISHA or AISHWARYA" were really funny. Time comes when AJITH and SURESH GOPI faces head to head and later comes to know the truth. Meanwhile the Politician gets into picture and sends a guy to kill "LAILA", The movie ends as Doctors saves LAILA and Suresh Gopi and Ajith joins together.

AJITH KUMAR:

As the super hero's not doing good these days Tamil movie industry lies on Young generation actors like AJITH, VIJAY, MADHAVAN etc. I think these guys are doing a great job in their movies. This is the first time AJITH is doing a Rowdi role and he has done it with full involvement. As usual his Love scenes were enjoyable and that's what he is known for. He has put Lot of WEIGHT and his TUMMY is visible in lots of places. He has developed good cheeks and hope he will not become another Sumo Wrestler. Already there are lots of Sumo Wrestlers in Kodambakkam. I dont know why he comes with Dadi all the time. He looks really good in one song with Laila in which he has a clean shaven face. All together this movie is a big boost for him. Cool job AJITH.

LAILA:

Laila Looks Cute from All Angles. Either its Acute Angle, Right Angle or Obtuse Angle, Side Angle, Straight angle. I think she is the only female who has that cute smile althogh she does not have sharp features. She is not very big not Too Small. These kinds of Chicks are hard to find in Tamil movies for a long time. Either they will be like Himalayan mountains like Kushboo, Rambha or Nagma or They will be too Small. She looks decent in all her costume and at the same time does not overacts. Other than that she has the same Smile as that of "Parthen Rasithen". A good movie for her and lets wait and see how she is going to do in her future movies.

LOLLU COMMENTS:

A different movie for AJITH and the movie is reported to be a Hit. It seems that this movie is doing good in all centers. The movie looks like "Dalapadhi". Couple of songs were good. These days to do a strong movie they need a strong character. In this movie its Suresh Gopi. He did an Excellent job with good acting although he looks like a Person who Puts "BANANA CHIPS" in Kerala. Good Acting. AJITH has to reduce a lot. His Tummy is visible and it really looks ugly. A romantic hero must be slim. I think Laila will come up with her "THERAMAI". She has done a good Job in this movie. All together "DHEENA" is a full fledged entertainer and its worth to watch. Cool story, Good acting, catchy Songs and great direction by the director. The movie is worth 70/100 for giving a decent movie.
