STORY:
Of Late Prabhu Deva was improving a bit with movies like
"Ezayin Syripil" and "Pennin
Manadai Thottu". DOUBLES is yet another movie which
proves that Prabhu Deva is fit only for doing Crazy "Saidapet
Donkey Actions" and "Korukupet Korangu
Actions". He was so irritating that after watching
this movie i scratched my Room mate like a Monkey and he is now
admitted in General Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
The movie starts projecting Prabhu deva as a Shop Keeper who
sells toys to kids. He will be wearing a Mask which is similar to
his face and he will be wearing that mask on the backside of his
head so that he looks like a "Kilpauk Korangu" and
does all possible Crazy actions in the world which really
irritates everyone. He has all bad habits like Drinking, Smoking
and Jollufying Chicks. He gets married to Meena who wants her
husband to be like Sree Ram. Prabhu Deva Acts as if he is a nice
guy and also gets caught few times when he tries to overact.
Rasika Meena's close friend comes and stays with Meena as she is
doing her Final year in Madras Medical college. Prabhu Deva had
pinched Rasika's hip when she was travelling in a bus gets
slapped by Rasika and was thrown from that bus before she meets
Deva. Rasika takes the task of Seducing Prabhu deva to prove that
he is a Jollan to Meena and fails in many attempts. Lots and lots
of Kadi and Irritating Scenes comes in the middle as Prabhu Deva
Overacts in many places. The movie ends with a Cheap Climax as
Meena Dies beacuse of Jaundice and Rasika marries Pandiyarajan
who comes for one scene in the last.
PRABHU
DEVA:
Probably one of the most irritating and Stupid Action Hero of
Late in Tamil Cinema. I really admire him when he dances and he
is an excellent dancer. I don't know what made Directors Like
Pandiyarajan to make a movie with Prabhu Deva being the hero of
the 
movie.
He does all stupid Crazy actions possible in this world. He wears
a Coat which is made of Leather and which has a Lotus Sign
Printed on the coat. His immature acting only brings
irritation. I was really happy after seeing his previous two
movies which involved less Crazy actions. He has stepped down and
One can give Zero Marks for his acting. In One scene he comes
with a Cap which Buffoons wear in GEMINI CIRCUS and he
exactly looked like a Person who Sells PAL ICE in PANANGAL
PARK. Irritating Action.
MEENA:
The only satisfaction in this movie was MEENA's appearance. She
is extremely beautiful in few scenes and OK looking when she
wears modern dress. The whole first half of the movie goes
showing Meena and her naughty talk which was pleasing. But there
is nothing much to say about her as the story line and Prabhu
Deva's acting ate me and Meena's beauty and her acting was
suppressed because of that. But she is one of the most sexiest
artist in Tamil.

COMMENTS:
It seems that the movie was directed by Pandiyarajan who directed
great movies like ANNPAVAM, KANNIRASI etc. I
don't know what made him to make a Stupid movie like this which
has no story, no Screen Play and nothing and Prabhu Deva who
comes in the middle as a Joker and does some stupid action. There
are lots and lots of Stupid Twist in the movie like a female
getting introduced as a Close friend of Heroine and the Heroine
dying because of Jaundice for no reason thinking that Its a
Sentimental Climax which shows the stupidity of the movie makers.
Please do avoid these kind of movies. There are lots to in this
world rather than watching these kind of movie. I don't know what
is meant by DOUBLES and what made the director to keep a name
like this for this movie. The movie is worth only 25/100 that too
for MEENA or else its a big zero!
