STORY:
Silambarasan who is also called as CHIMBU and who liked to be called as "Little Super Star" is one of the Hot Hero in Tamil Cinema Industry. Son of Famous Cine Director T. Rajender has some Talents and his Second Move DUM is A Remake of a Super Duper Hit Telugu/Kanada Movie. The Product is called as DUM in Tamil. Chimbu is a College Student And he roams with his Four Good for nothing Friends. He is son of Poor Police constable 'Delhi' Ganesh. He wears Ear rings and Has pierced his Eyes,
Tattoos all over
his body etc like ATLANTA Pop Singers and he hangs around
with his friends in Bars, Tstall And they are thick friends.
He ends up with fighting with everyone in that area and some
people who does not like him Beats him like anything and he gets
Admitted in hospital. Now comes the Heroine of the movie. The
heroine is a Freque who roams in Hyundai Car and he sees Chimbu
with blood and admits him in the hospital. As usual a Good For
nothing Doctor comes and says that he need lots and lots Of Blood
and as usual Heroines Blood Group is same as that of our Hero's. The Love Starts between Chimbu and the heroine as CHIMBU hears that She gave lots and lots of Blood when he was admitted In the hospital. Chimbu starts to roam behind her and she happens to join the same class too. Some Cheap College Jokes comes in this movie Too. The regular Professor / Student Jokes which is good for nothing. The Heroine rejects his Love but Chimbu does lots of Stunts like Jumping from Top of building and Climbing back like SPIDERMAN again and saying I Love You. The Heroine after seeing CHIMBU Jumping and Climbing back Like Spiderman’s Ability accepts his love. Now comes Villain Aashish Vidyarthi into Picture. He is no one but Police Commissioner and who is Boss of his own dad 'DELHI' GANESH. From this point its Love Vs Police Commissioner's Power. Chimbu gets beaten like a Dog by Adiyals. Even after all those he is Firm on his love. Aashish Vidyarthi has no other options other than calling some "GUNDAS" to kick him, But out hero fight with everyone And comes out as the winner.
CHIMBU:
CHIMBU copies all his stunts and action from Super Star Rajini Kanth and he was quiet successful in doing so. He was good in dancing and looks good when he shaves his DADI. Couple of duets in a foreign country was too much for him. But his Ear rings, Tattoos were too much. All that he was missing is those Guitars and Leather Pants. The heroine who was a Super Hit in Telugu and Kanada looks ok!! An Average looking female who will be there only for this movie? The one thing that Was missing was maturity in his acting. But other than that he was really fine. I still don’t understand that Spider man Stunt in This movie. Heroine Asking Hero to Jump from Building and Hero climbing back after jumping. I was just imagining CHIMBU As spider man!! HA HA HA !! That was funny!!!! He is trying to be Another Rajini Kanth !!! Let’s Wait and see!!

This movie is better than his previous one "KADAL AZIVADILAI". Chimbu is a much more improved actor when compared to his previous movie. The heroine looks good. But it’s kind of boring knowing the Storyline. It was Similar to Prabhu Deva's KADHALAN. Let’s see how his next movie will be. Lots of Cheap comedy and Extras must be avoided and if the maturity level increases he will be another star like VIJAY. The movie was hit in Tamil Nadu Because it was giving everything was B and C Grade movie goers need!!! DUM is a movie that can be watched if you have time!! The movie gets 40/100!
