"ENNAVALE" New Tamil Movie Review By "Your Prabhu"

STORY:

"Madhavan" who came big with his recent "Alaipayudhey" has become "Romeo Boy" in Female Colleges like Stella Marys, Ethiraj, Queen Mary's, Lady Wellington, Washington D.C till Choolai Medu Girls Corporation High School. His Second movie was highly expected from his Female Fans as well as Male "MADHAVAN" Fans. But "ENNAVALE" for sure was not up to his FEMALE FANS expectations as the story was just a remake of VIKRAMAN's "PUDHU VASANTHAM" which was released few years back.

Madhavan so called as JAMES VASANTHAN is a person who sings songs in "Marriage Reception" with "MIKE". He does not know who his Parents are and so is his Buddies "CHARLIE" who cannot hear properly, VIYAPURI who cannot see and one more person who has a female Tone. They Grow in a Christian Missionary. Normally in Tamil Movies if the HERO does not know who his Parents are He will grow in a Church and he will be taken care by a Nun who will know his Whereabouts like who is parents are and in Climax she will tell that secret to the HERO which will be a Turning point for that movie. This movie is not a exception. There is a Nun in this movie who takes care of MADHAVAN and his friends. They run their life Singing Songs in functions. They get kicked off from their house owners quite often because of their notorious behavior with the house owners.

SNEHA a new Face gets introduced as a Train Ticket seller. MADHAVAN who happens to get a Train Ticket from her develops a TRAIN TICKET LOVE with SNEHA without knowing that she is his House owner Daughter. I don't know how one can develop a LOVE in a Train Ticket Counter. Train ticket counter has a very small gap which is good for inserting one's hand and get ticket and get back his change. But our Madhavan develops his Love in that "CYCLE GAP" with SNEHA. After Few funny encounters they both become very close. If a Guy and Girl become close the next stage is ADVICE. SNEHA gives advice to MADHAVAN that he needs to sing in Stages and become famous so that he can earn a lot and come up in his life. Taking her advice MADHAVAN sings in SUN TV, STAR TV, UDHAYA TV, ZEE TV and becomes famous. At the same time the TRAIN TICKET LOVE Developed reaches its peak and he Sings Duets with SNEHA in mountain near beach with SNEHA coming in All Plain Sarees with Fast Music etc etc.

Time comes when MADHAVAN says his LOVE to SNEHA. That's it. WATER in OCEAN reaches 50 FEET High, THUNDER Storm Comes as SNEHA says NO NO to his LOVE. But MADHAVAN who is very serious about his LOVE asks the reason. A Flash back Comes. It seems that SNEHA is already Married to ANAND. He does not like her because he was in SERIOUS LOVE with another female and he was forced to marry SNEHA because of his Parents. MADHAVAN gets kicked out of the house and as Usual he sings songs in SNEHA's Marriage Reception. Then the usual climax of SNEHA understanding MADHAVAN's true LOVE and joins him at last and the movie ends.

MADHAVAN:

To me MADHAVAN was the only Good Hero Introduced after a Long time in Tamil. His First movie "Alaipayudhey" was Promising and he came out big in that movie. Even in this movie he was cool and did his job. But everything was suppressed in a weird and known story line. How can one take MADHAVAN holding "MIKE" like MURALI and singing songs with his Buddies. MADHAVAN there are lots and lots of Directors like "KASTURI RAJA", "P. VASU" holding "VESTI" and "JIBBA" for their next VILLAGE PRODUCTION as "PANNIYAR". Please don't accept those roles and become a Normal Hero. For sure this role was not a pleasing one for his fans. But a good Job in this movie too.

SNEHA:

SNEHA is a typical Good Looking Tamil Heroine who is a mixture of Bombay Girl, Telugu Structure and MALLU KATTAI with Kodambakkam Touch. She looks active and never in this movie you can see a First Appearance fear in this movie. Good Height and Correct Weight makes us to come forward. Especially in that different color saree with fast music song makes us think that "SHE IS THE FIGURE OF THIS YEAR" and also "THE NACHU KATTAI" OF THE YEAR. But how long these fancy heroine can last is a question and its purely based on LUCK. She looks like SUDHA CHANDRAN in few angle. I saw her "FACE TO FACE" interview in SUN TV. As Usual she says that she like to PLAY GOLF, EAT PIZZA, DRINK MAZZA etc etc. It seems her pass time is FISHING. I don't know how many get chance to PLAY GOLF in MADRAS Hot Summer. I think other than fishermen's no one does FISHING in India. It sees that she is from DUBAI. But an EXCELLENT FIGURE. No Doubt in it. Good to see such good Figures getting introduced in Tamil movies.

LOLLU COMMENTS:

An Over expected movie which didn't meet the Public Demand. Its just a remake of "PUDHU VASANTHAM". A Murali Kind of story in which "MADHAVAN" acted. The movie gave all kinds of flavor like Comedy, Songs, Acting but something was missing. For sure MADHAVAN did a great Job. Characters like 'Thalaivasal' Vijay, Anand Come and go and they do no good. Charlie and Viyapuri did a great Job. Couple of Songs were really good.

A song Competition in SUN TV was funny. I don't know why S.A RAJ KUMAR gives his appearance in Screen with his HAIR STYLE. He looks like a person who had 10 bottle of Beer and about to Vomit. A good Entertainment with a Big Minus. The minus is "STORY" which was copied literally from a Previous movie. Each and every scene was a remake from "PUDHU VASANTHAM". The movie is worth for 50/100 because of MADHAVAN and new face SNEHA.
