Just role back few Years in your life. Most of us were in College. Most of us were traveling in Train, Bus, Cycle or at the max a Bike to move from place to place. All that we had in our pocket is a 50 Rupee note ( ONE DOLLAR) and we used to lead our life happily. Today most of Our LE Readers are doing really fine. All of us have a Car, All of us have a Decent Salary, All of us have almost Everything to Lead our life. We are in different parts of the world and earning enough. Most of us Earn More than what we need.
I heard a story today from a friend. A Sick Mom, A Sick Dad and a Sick 12 Year Old Kid who leads his life with a 3000 Rupee Salary. A hospital Expense of 300 Rupees per day for the sick mom who is lying in the bed for more than 20 Days! A Family head who is Mentally weak as well as Physically Weak. How many cases do you want to see like this. There are many !
I am very much attracted to Great Leaders who Give Great Speech. I am very happy that our World leaders are so great that they talk about Poverty. I was watching a Channel called C-SPAN one Evening. Former President BILL CLINTON gave a Speech which was really touching. Many people in the world lead their life with Less than 2 $ a Day. So Please think when you are going to have a cup of Coffee the next time. Less than 2$ a day is what a Family of four can afford today in most part of the world. That includes the family education, Shelter, Cloths, Medical, Food etc etc. I really felt bad that day. I was shocked and From that day when ever i go to a coffee shop I always used to think that the Money I Paid to Get the Cup of Coffee will "FEED A FAMILY OF FOUR FOR A DAY"!!! When ever i drink a Coffee in Coffee shop I Take a Step Back and really think twice !!! I thank the Great Leader to Make me think !!
Our world is filled with Great Opportunity. Our world is filled with lots of fun. We have great leaders. We are in the 21st Century where you can sit in America and deliver Sweets to Your loved once in back home. Thanks to the Latest (Internet Shopping malls). Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! Leading a life has become so easy that you can live in an apartment for more than six months without going out. We spend 25$ for a dinner, 15$ for a movie, 500$ for a every trip we make. We have a decent job. Great !! I am really happy that we are able to do things and I am really thankful to God that he has given everything to us.
But we must not forget that there are lots of people who are suffering to lead their life. Poor Children’s without parents who cannot go to school because its not affordable. A good opportunity will change many things in one's life. To get that opportunity they need Education. Education is the Primary need for any one to come up in their life. We can help others by helping the Poor kids. Giving
Opportunity for those kids in their education. A 10$ Donation a month to those poor family who suffer can change the entire family. A 10$ gift can Educate the kid and make his family to come up. That 10$ is nothing but a Fast food expense we spend Every other day. When i talk about this subject to my folks there is always a question that how am i going to donate this money. Will it reach the person whom i am sponsoring.
I have the same doubt. I know our readers are all nice people who have good heart. But the only thing is we dont know how to make our donations. Lets all start helping our own relatives who are poor. Pick your relative who is not doing well. Sponsor that family member's education. It will hardly cost you $8 or $10 a month to pay his school education or his college fees. Lets start to improve our family and at some point we will see a complete different world. Help for your family members Medical expense. you can always help someone when you keep that first step.!!!
I would have written about a movie making fun of the movie in this Diwali special edition. The whole point of Starting this web site is to make friends and I want this web site to do some service. Now that we have at least 500 Readers a day i want to do something which is really useful to all of us. An entertainment website must not stop in making some one to have fun and laugh.
