"ILAYAVAN" New Tamil Movie Review by "YOUR PRABHU"

STORY:

Before reading this review Please take a look at the picture Posted along with this review. Have a close Look. If you have any problems wear your Glass and view the picture. He is 'SATYARAJ's Relative and son of a Very famous Producer who Produce movies with SATYARAJ as Hero. It seems that for this Producer Son "SATYAN" and wants to act in movies and become 2000 SUPERSTAR. The result is "ILAYAVAN". Take Two, Three Glass of Water and stay away from any Sharp instruments when you see this movie. Also call some friends whom you really don't like.

SATYAN is a College student. The introduction scene was ultimate comedy. They will first show the hero tying a Shoe, then his Leg, Then his Leather Coat. They will not show his face. I thought that he will be like "AJITH KUMAR" or "HIRTHIK ROSHAN" and that's the reason they are not showing the hero's face. A Bus will be waiting and the Hero's college mates will say don't take the bus as "BARATHI" didn't come. Then comes our HERO running and boarding the bus and shows his face to the audience. I stopped My VCR. I stopped my TV. I already had some Fever. I thought that it will be a good movie for review so I continued.

The movie runs with lots and lots of Jumps like this. He will go to college and will have fun with his best buddy "VIYAPURI" and Three Ugly looking guys. I think they would have failed in there third Standard and would have started acting and they will say that they are College Students holding Three books in their hand. Slowly our hero will fall in LOVE with KOUSALYA. If you are interested in knowing how the love started between SATYAN and KOUSALYA, It starts this way. KOUSALYA will be walking with her umbrella and Satyan goes and takes her umbrella and she gets wet because the hero takes her Umbrella and falls in fever. SATYAN feels bad for what he did and LOVE Develops. Lots of Irritating scene comes as our hero give LOVE LETTER to KOUSALYA in RAILWAY RESERVATION FORM. I don't know how one can give a love letter to someone in RAILWAY RESERVATION form. He says "I LOVE YOU" 1000 Times in the movie that too in a "FROG TONE". One can get that wonderful tone only when he drinks "FROG URINE" that too 3 Liters.

The movie continuos with lots and lots of Wonderful Scenes like this. Only Directors like Steven Spielburg can take movies like this. KOUSALYA starts her flash back as her parents "FATHIMA" BABU and SHIVA KUMAR forces her to marry. It seems that KARAN is her lover. The "FROG TONE" I LOVE YOU becomes more as the climax reaches. At last the movie ends.

SATYAN:

I don't know what made him to act in a movie. If he is a producer son ask him to play VIDEO GAMES in TV or ask him to Take his bike and roam in Besant Nagar Beach or ask him to do some thing. Please don't act in movies and make us see that movie. He does not have one good Quality to act. Right from Start till end he comes with a Weird face that makes and Says "I LOVE YOU". He has delivered all the dialogs with his own voice. That is another Irritation. One can get such donkey voice only when he drinks Petrol and Diesel and Crude Oil. I don't know why all these Producer son wants to act in movies. One good example is "K.T. KUNJUMON's" Son. His name is EBY KUNJUMON and he acted in a movie called "KODISWARAN". No one wants to buy that movie and its still sitting inside the box.

KOUSALYA:

Oru Cappa Figaruku Etha Chappa !!! She has become like a "GANDHI MANDABAM" ONNAN. All that you can see in her face is her Big round Eyes. Other than that I don't find any reason why she is still acing in movies and irritate us. I think we must give her the title and ask her to sit in home.

Please do watch the movie and keep the tape with you. If you feel like laughing put this tape and laugh. Forgot to tell. There are couple of Duets in the movie where he comes and plays Saxophone that too in front of Sea shore and two females will be at his side and they will be in bikini. !!! Dai ??But the fun is calling your close friends on a cold week end day and see this movie with your friends !!

Hero's like Satyan are good example for the fall of our Tamil Cinema. The comedy is the director has tried to do a serious movie with him ! That was the height of irritation. I don't know why Quality actors like SHIVA KUMAR agreed to act in these kinds of movie. It seems after this movie was released our HERO is giving Interviews in SUN TV, RAJ TV etc etc. After watching this movie I got Fever and I went to Doctor last week end and he asked me "DID I SEE SOMETHING WHICH I AM NOT SUPPOSED TO SEE". The movie is worth only 20/100 that too because they have spend some money for tapes.
