"Half Crack" Karthik, "All India Maraballi & Chapa Figure President" Kousalya, Manthra, Anju, Thyagu and Manivannan stars in a new tamil movie KUBERAN. Music by S.A. RajKumar and directed by "Snake Fame" Rama Narayanan. Enjoy my review on "KUBERAN".
STORY:
Karthik roams in Kodaikanal who is a Tourist guide. His earnings are the only source of income for his family which is really big. His dad Manivannan who drinks and has three wife's does not do any good for the family. Karthik's Sister 'ANJU' and her husband
'THYAGU' live in
the same house. Each and every family member has Two to Three
kids and all together there were 15 to 20 members in that family.
I even thought that I was watching "HUM APKE HAIN
KOUN" or "HUM SATH SATH HAIN".The Galij Starts when "ALL INDIA CHAPPA FIGURE PRESIDENT" Kousalya comes into picture. she roams in the streets of Kodaikanal with a MIKE. Magne ... and she sings songs with that mike. Kousalya becomes another family member of Karthik as Karthik's dad Manivannan gets money from Kousalya and she stays there in his house. Meanwhile " DELHI ERUMAI 'MADDU" MANTHRA gets introduced and she also roams along with Karthik, Kousalya. Slowly a TWO WAY LOVE develops between Karthik and Kousalya and a ONE WAY LOVE develops for MANTRA on KARTHIK. Both of them sings couple of Duets with KARTHIK in White angel dress, Pink Shoes and Blue Hat etc etc. After half-hour MANTHRA withdraws her LOVE on KARTHIK as Karthik and Kousalya were going steady and she disappears from the movie.
Meanwhile lots and lots of Cheap scene comes in the movie like the kids in the family fight for Biriyani. They throw the plates on their mom asking for Chicken Briyani when their mom serves Plain rice. Karthik who is the care taker of the family buys Egg Briyani for the kids and One kid will kick another kids butt for not having EGG in that BRIYANI Pocket and when the BRIYANI problem gets solved by KARTHIK, THYAGU comes with his friends and grabs all the briyani pocket and serves them to his Friends. I really dont know how these kinds of cheap Scene's are made in movies showing BRIYANI parcel and EGG fight. Kousalya marries Karthik and she starts to take the family responsibility and at last the CLIMAX GALIJ comes and the director was able to finish the movie.
KARTHIK:
I don't find any reason why Karthik is acting in Crazy movies like this. His Volume has reduced and his Speech is something like a Donkey which drunk Monkey Urine that too Vandalur Monkey Urine and is ready to Piss off. He just comes and goes and he is not doing anything with involvement which was really irritating. Even in duets he was crazy ! A Big Zero.
KOUSALYA & DELHI "ERUMAI" MANTHRA:
Kousalya comes as singer and sings few songs with mike. I don't know how one can take all these things. She looks exactly like a MARABALLI hanging in a tube light. God give us some break. MANTHRA can directly go to some Farm field and eat grass so that she can become like a Little Elephant. Other than that she is good for nothing.
LOLLU COMMENTS:
Some movies are taken for the heck of taking it and there are few directors in Kodambakkam who just make movies like anything. They make 10 to 12 movies a year and out of that 10 movies one movie will become a big hit and they will make their money in that movie. These movies are made in Trial and Error method and one such movie which was made using Trial and Error is "KUBERAN".
Rama Narayanan is fit for catching Snakes and cockroaches in Kodamabakkam and i don't know why the hell he is making movies and eating us. His previous movies "Kanda Kadamba Kadirvela" and "Thirupathi Ezumalai Venkatesa" fetched him some good name and here again is KUBERAN which is height of irritation. Please do avoid not only this movie but also KARTHIK, KOUSALYA and MANTHRA. This movie is worth only 20/100.
