STORY:
S.J. SURYA who gave us the biggest hit of Last year
"VAALEE" with AJIT KUMAR and SIMRAN has tried
to do again with VIJAY and JOTHIKA in "KUSHI". The
movie is a very different Love Story. All these days we are used
to Love stories like 
"College Love", "School
Love", "Chemistry Tuition Love", "NIIT
LOVE", "APTECH LOVE", "Student Teacher
Love", "Servant Owner Lover", "Car Driver and
PANIYAR Daughter Love" and even "DOSAI LOVE" like
the one in "ETTU PATTI RASA", "IDLY LOVE" etc
etc. In this movie the director went one step above all
these things. The Love between VIJAY and JOTHIKA starts
when they are THREE MONTHS OLD! Magane !!!! The director
says that Love between any one develops because of Fate and they
are already decided.
The first scene in the movie is a Hospital Scene in Culcutta in
which a Pregnant woman will be crying to give birth and a
Doctor who did her B.A in Queen Marys Arts College will be
standing aside that female with a SORI NAYEE (A Dog Affected by
SORI) Face. The new born baby is VIJAY so called as
SHIVA in this movie. Similarly another Scene as that of the first
one but this time it is in "KUTRALAM". A Village
Pregnant woman Scene! Hope everyone knows what is meant by "VILLAGE
PREGNANT WOMAN SCENE". A ugly Old Woman will be sitting
beside a Female who is going to give birth and that old female
will say "ATTHA KAPATHU ATTHA" "MARI ATTHALUKU
CHICKEN BRIYANI PANNI PODREN". That is if the
female give birth properly then that Old female will do
"CHICKEN BRIYANI" for "MARI ATTAL GODESS". OK
let me come to the story ! JOTHIKA so called as "JENNY"
gets her Visa to Earth. The director says that these two are
going to love and it seems its the Fate that is playing the Role
!
All these things are digestible. The major "GALIJ"
starts when both VIJAY and JOTHIKA meets in Culcutta when they
are SIX MONTH OLD. They both clap their hands and exchange smiles
! Except for LIP TO LIP KISS and a BED SCENE they do
every damn thing at the AGE OF SIX MONTHS. I think this
is the firts time in this world a director has showed a SIX
MONTHS old love Scene to public. Irritating. Then they grow and
again meet in a NCC camp in Bangalore when they
were SIX YEARS OLD. At last the grown version of JOTHIKA and
VIJAY meets in Madras Christian College !
First they start with Clash and slowly become friends. SHILPA
JETTY studies with Vijay in the same class and she comes
for a 
Dance
song and she disappears. JOTHIKA and VIJAY falls in love and
JOTIKA presents a "Ash Tray" for Vijay to express her
love. After few encounters and fights between both of them they
both gets separated although they love each other. Again they
both are forced to move together as they happen to help their
friends love who Love each other. Both Vijay and Jothika helps
them to get married. Meanwhile MUMTAJ joins the same college to
do her "P.HD in COMPUTER SCIENCE". A one side
Love with VIJAY. A glamour Song etc etc and at last the movie
ends as Both VIJAY and JOTIKA realize that they love each other
and ties "THALI" and the movie ends!
VIJAY:
After his two flop movies "NENJINELE" and
"KANUKUL NILAVU" here comes the third movie
"KUSHI". I don't know what made him to act in
these kinds of stupid stories like SIX MONTHS LOVE etc. Acting
wise he is becoming another PANDIYARAJAN. All that he is missing
is that loose action of Pandiyarajan! If he gets it then he can
very well act in movies like "PATTI SOLLAI THATADHE"
etc. He exactly looks like a person who sells
"DARBIS in DINDIVANAM". (Water melon seller in DINDIVANAM).
He looks sad as if he has lost
something. To be simple he looks like a "MADRICHI
VITTA KOZHI". If he goes in this way he is going to
be another flop hero. I really liked his previous movies like "KADALUKU
MARIYADAI" , "RASIGAN" etc etc. He is
missing his dance action in this movie. His usual dance step is "Holding
his Hands 90 Degree to his body like "JESUS Christ hanging
in SILUVAI" and shaking his head like THANJAVUR THALAI ATTI
BOMMAI !!!! Vijay be careful.
JOTHIKA:
I don't know what to say for these kinds of Mid Range Artist. One
angle they look like "KOLAN KUDI KARUPAYEE" and
in another angle they look like "VADIVUKARASI".
She comes the whole movie right from the first scene
till the last scene and acts 
as if she hates VIJAY but loves him out of
her bottom heart. She comes in Some modern dress like Midi and
Pant's Shirts! After seeing these AMERICAN females and
their Dressing Even if MADURI DIXIT Comes half dressed i don't
think i will fall for her. If she tries to act and
change her face that's it no one can stand. I don't know the
reason why JOTHIKA is turning into Another REVATHI like Covering
all her body parts and acting like "PUDUMAI PENN"
Revathi. I don't think in long run in a competitive Cinema
Industry any heroine who is trying to act like that can stand in
the industry. JOTHIKA you must act in RAIN SONGS, BALL
SONGS, etc etc and be a feast for the Fans like Your Sister NAGMA
!! You need to learn a lot from your sister !!!
LOLLU COMMENTS:
The movie is reported to be a Flop movie. Vijay can't expect to
give a hit with movies like a SIX MONTHS old Love story etc. The
right name for the movie would be "KURUVI" or
"KAKA" instead of Kushi. All that we can get from this
movie is irritation! Nothing special. One must appreciate DEVA
for his excellent music in this movie. All songs were really good
and nice to hear.
JOTHIKA comes with all Second hand Naidu Hall pants and
"PANAGAL PARK" Platform T-shirt and keeps her face like
a "MULLAM PANRI" and laughs I ran out of my bed room
after seeing her. VIJAY I don't know why he keeps his
face like a PERSON WHO PUTS BONDA in BOMBAY!! It seems that the
director of the movie is going to say some advice to us. He is
saying that "PLEASE LOVE BUT LOVE WITHOUT ANY EGO"!!!!
I still don't understand what is meant by LOVE !!!

I grade this movie to be a KADI and FLOP movie! Director S.J
SURYA after giving his big hit VAALEE has failed to do the same
in this movie. Lets see what VIJAY is going to do new to attract
his fans which he had when KADALUKU MARIYADAI was released. VIVEK
comes and goes in this movie without any kind of Comedy. I grade
this movie to be a Flop movie and its worth only 40/100.
