New Tamil Movie Review By "YOUR PRABHU"
"Quarter" Kushboo, "South India SUPER
MAN" Ranjit, 'Thalaivaasal' Vijay, Vindhya,
Vadivelu, Ambika, Devan, Anuja, 'Kovai' Sarala Stars in a new
Tamil Movie "MAGALIRKAGA". The movie
directed by Indhiyan and Music by new face Varshan. Enjoy my new
tamil movie review on "Magalirkaga" a Female Rights
subject.
STORY:
Any female rights Subject will have a strong heroine who kicks
everyone and fights with the Villains, Slaps everyone etc etc.
Good Example of One such heroine is ANDRA Super Heroine
"VIJAYA SANTHI" who fights like ROWDI
RANGAN in the movies. "Magalirkaga" is one
such movie which projects KUSHBOO as a super heroine who fights
for a Female who is working with her. But one difference between KUSHBOO
and VIJAYASHANTHI is KUSHBOO does not fly or Kicks the
Villains with her legs as Vijyashanthi does in Movie like
"GOUNDER PONNA KOKKA" or in "SUPER POLICE".
The reason is KUSHBOO cannot fly from here and there with her
body. If she does she will look as if some female WHITE
ELEPHANT is flying here and there.
The story is about Four Police Women who works in a Female Police
station. KUSHBOO is an Inspector. Vindhya, Ambika, 'Kovai'
Sarala are all ordinary police and Vadivelu works in
that station too. Our of these four Female Police KUSHBOO and 
VINDHYA are
'Clean hand' Police whereas "AMBIKA and SARALA"
are corrupted police. The movie revolves around these four people
showing what our Lady police does in their station which was
irritating. They show all Silly things like running a Chit
company and all those crap inside a police station and
AMBIKA and SARALA getting money from everyone etc etc which
really hurts us. There was one other comedy. There
was a PC in that Police station and Abika will type some thing in
that PC and query the details using that PC !! Ha ha ha ha !!!!!
Kushboo gets introduced in a big way like VIJAYA GANTH
gets introduced in "PULAN VISARANAI". . A POLICE JEEP
will come and they will first show a Well Polished Black Leather
Shoe. Then her Legs. She will be wearing a neatly ironed Docker
and then her Body and then her face. She will walk with a 'LUTTY'
with a cooling glass and a police cap !! Magane !! It was fun. I
thought that its regular "MANAVADU Vijayashanthi" Style
movie. But KUSHBOO didn't overact and did her job calmly. VINDHYA
who is from an ordinary and poor family works in the police
station. Meanwhile some comedy comes as VADIVELU and
SARALA falls in love with each other and SARALA projects
her family to be a Royal family although she is from a
"KURUVI KARAN FAMILY". Some irritating comedy gets
over.
The real story starts when 'Thalaivasal' Vijay rapes Vindhya in
her police station. and Anuja who is S.I helps him to do this.
The message reaches the higher officials and Devan who is in a
senior post in Police Department asks KUSHBOO to suppress this
issue as it will fetch a bad name to the whole police department.
But Kushboo who does not agree to it fights against those cruel
guys and brings the issue to the public and reports this issued
to 'Human Right Commission' and wins the race as
all the three gets good punishment and the movie ends.
KUSHBOO, VINDHYA, AMBIKA:
Everyone did a good job with their role. It was nice to see
Kushboo in Police dress. Ambika and Sarala were also wearing
Police 
dress
!! ha ha ha ! I think they would have ordered an EXTRA
EXTRA LARGE SIZE for all these girls or else they would
have gone to VANDALUR ZOO and got measurements from a WATER
ELEPHANT so that they can stitch a POLICE DRESS which will suit
all these LITTLE ELEPHANTS "KUSHBOO, AMBIKA and
SARALA". VINDHYA was too good and she is one female
who is wasted in these kinds of movies. Acting wise everyone were
good considering their experience. AMBIKA was too fat and there
is no difference between her face, neck, body etc. She looks like
an EUROPE Map. Shape less figure. RANJIT, Veniraadai 'Murthy'
comes and goes and they make no difference in the female
dominated movie.
LOLLU COMMENTS:
The movie was taken to attract the female crowd. One good example
which was a big success long time back was "MAGALIR
MATTUM" where REVATHI, OORVASHI did a good
job against a JOLLUFYING "Nasar". The concept is the
same but the story is different. The actual story starts only
after One and half hours and the story ends in one hour. Before
that they projected unnecessary scenes which made us feel odd. I
think the movie would have been made better. KUSHBOO as usual was
excellent at her acting. I think its the right time for actress
like AMBIKA to rest on or to start a CONSULTANCY COMPANY
in AMERICA and bring Software Professionals from HYDREBAD.
Ambika its a good business. Almost all the heroines are doing the
same job here. Or else you can Learn JAVA or CORBA or XML and
Join TCS, WIPRO SYSTEMS as a software Engineer. They will send
you to AMERICA in a B1 Visa! The right name for this
movie would be "KUTTY YANNA GALIN ATTAGASAM" or
"MUNRU NEER YANAIGAL" etc.
I grade this movie to be a Very ordinary movie which is good for
"Female Crowds" sitting in the front seat. The movie
would have been made better but the director failed to do it. The
music director also did not do a great job. Vadivelu Song was
irritating. The movie is worth 45/100 and that too for KUSHBOO,
AMBIKA and KOVAI SARALA's acting.
