STORY:
It was K. BALACHANDER who started to take movies giving values to
Relations. There were number of movies which projected
Friendship, Relation by him. Those movies were really natural and
were sweet to watch. "Priyadha Varam Vendum" which
is a remake of Super Hit Malayalam movie "NIRAM" is a
movie that is projects Friendship in a 100% Cinematic way which
makes us to slap the 
person who is sitting aside us initially
and finally getting good because of a decent climax.
The Story starts as Prasanth and Shalini Jumps, Fights,
Hugs, Shouts together. It seems that they were born on
the same day, Same Time, Same Star. They are friends from their
childhood. Goes to the same school and goes to the same college.
They play with each other even at the age of 25. They Kick each
other and even Prasanth's Mom Ambika or Shalini's Dad Nizalgal
'Ravi' cares a Damn that a 25 Years old Girl is Hugging and
playing with a 25 Years old Guy. Of course they are in the same
colony and they know each other for 25 years. I think its really
a Stupid Action that any one can do at the age
of 25. If you think that its not stupid try to go and hug a girl
whom you know for 25 Years and if she ask anything say that you
Know her for 25 Years! The first One hour of the movie goes this
way with all kinds of silly actions like this which was really
irritating. The height of comedy was Both Prasanth and Shalini
will be dressed in the same color. They talk over the phone for
hours together, Go to college together sitting in Bike !! 'Kovai'
Sarala is another Irritating Creature that Joins in
Prasanth's house as Cook and she 'Bites' Us with Kadi Jokes.
All these things are acceptable to some extent. But in their
College their classmates and their Professor doesn't care much
about Prasanth's and Shalini's friendship as they know that they
are Good Friends from Childhood. We all know what will happen in
College if a Area Guy and Area Girl who know each other before
Calls themselves as Friends in the college ! It was really
Cinematic. A 
One side Love develops for JOMOL a Irritating New
face which looks like these "HOLOWEEN PUMPKIN"
on Prasanth. Prasanth as Usual avoids her Love as he is
doing it from Chembaruthi. Similarly a One side Love develops
between "KRISHNA" on Shalini. KRISHNA is a typical guy
who is fit for doing "RAJA" kind of roles. The movie
continues like this. Shalini after the initial rejection of One
side love later start to accept Krishna's love.
Time comes when SHALINI goes to a Trip to BANGALORE and she needs
to be away from Prasanth for more than a Week. That's it.
PRASANTH starts his "NADIGAR THILAGAM 2001" actions.
Like both of them will say "DO I REALLY NEED TO GO
TO BANGALORE" !!! One will say yes you need to !!
The other will say no i cannot be without you for more than a
week !!!! Mangane Dai !!! Mangane Dai !!!! I tied myself to my
bed !!! The KONJALS continue over the phone thro 'STD' calls.
Shalini will call Prasanth from BANGALORE and will ask "Did
you drink Coffee"!! He will say Yes!! Then she will ask
"Did you take it with Sugar or not"!!! All these will
go in a STD Call!!! The Love Between KRISHNA and SHALINI grows
more after that Bangalore Trip. We all know how Love Develops in
colleges after these Guys and Girls have a College Tour. The same
kind of story happened in their case too.
Prasanth tries to be a "PHYSICAL FRIEND" even
after Shalini's Love with Krishna. Krishna does not like that.
MANORAMMA gets introduced as a "Modern Village Patti"
with Cell phone in her hand. The movie runs and at least the
director did some good at the end. After a while both starts to
realize that there is 'LOVE' between them and its not just
Friendship. Then both of them suffers what to do and what not. At
last the director keeps us guessing who will tie know to Shalini
and the movie ends that both SHALINI and PRASANTH understands
that there was a LOVE BETWEEN THEM FOR MORE THAN 25
YEARS.
PRASANTH:
Prasanth after his "Parthen Rasithen"
is one of the hero's who is trying to hang around and he is doing
pretty good in what he is doing. The movie came out with big
expectation and its doing really good in India. He can be awarded
"Nadigar Thilagam or 2001". His actions were not
enjoyable and the Comedy scenes he was trying to do with Shalini
and 'Kovai' Sarala was Irritating. He had few places to act which
i will say is Overacting like keeping a Sad face and delivering
Slow dialogs. All together a 'Prasanth kind of acting/ story with
many like and many don't like ! Overall nothing great
from him.
SHALINI:
I really don't know what to say. She was Loud, Irritating,
Overacting and what not you can add to it. It was Cinematic and
she made it more and it was irritating. Fortunately she is out of
the field of else we would have been eaten by her quite
frequently. Nothing was impressive from her side
other that Sound and being a Physical friend.
LOLLU
COMMENTS:
Too Much of everything will result in Nothing. How can
two people of Opposite sex be 'PHYSICAL FRIENDS' for 25 years.
Its possible to be friends but not 'Physical Friends'. This is
possible only in Cinema. If you consider the movie in a Cinematic
angle this movie will have some weightage. If you think in a
practical way this movie is a big Irritation. We were 10 watching
this movie and everyone felt the same. I had a friend who
watching this movie in FREEMONT, CA. It seems
after seeing Shalini's overaction people Stood from their
seats and Clapped their hands and went out of the theatre.
I think they are right. Especially when Shalini, Prasanth,
'Kovai' Sarala were doing something calling it as Joke!
People when loaded with over sentiments act in a different way. I
think its a Cinematic movie. S.A. RAJKUMAR slept in the middle
and forgot to put music at many places. Songs were not
impressive. If someone call this movie to be KADALUKU
MARIYADAI PART II, I am really sorry. The movie makes
some sense in the last 1/2 hour. The director and the people who
watch the movie has to understand that FRIENDSHIP is not
the one being "PHYSICAL". If you want to be PHYSICAL
then better call it as LOVE. I am pretty sure that
ignorant people will have a negative impact after seeing such
stories. The movie is doing really good in India. The movie gets
only 40/100 from Lollu Express that too for the climax.
