STORY:
RED is a result of "Height of Arva Kolaru". Hero's these days want to prove badly that they are capable of doing anything and because of this "ARVA KOLARU" they end up with something like this movie. AJITH so called as RED is a Local Dada in
Madurai. He does his Don work to help poor
people and Orphan Children's. The "Height of Galij" in
this movie is the expansion of the title of this movie
"RED" so called as "R for REVOLUTION, E for
EDUCATION, D for DEVELOPMENT". He has shaved his
head and wears a RED shirt and does all kinds of stunts that will
irritate any one. The initial scenes in the movie were nothing
but some crap, which projects him as local DADA. Many scenes were
copied from DHALAPTHI, NAYAGAN etc etc. He walks in his Area with
5 Adiyals with a Cigar and frequently scratching his
"MOTTAI THALAI" and says "ADHU... ADHU...." which
literally brings nothing but irritation. The movie continues like
this for a while showing AJITH's Kicking ability, Fighting
ability, His helping nature etc etc etc RED happens to help his friend Manivannan and meets his daughter Priya Gill and falls in love with her. In the meantime a Villan gets introduced (SALIM GHOUSE) who looks like a comedian. It seems that he is another DON in that area and all those crap. Both RED and the Villan meet in a Lake shore which is something similar to how Rajini and Mamooty meets in Dhalapathi. But this meeting brings nothing but Laughter out of Irritation. To make the movie move AJITH dances with PRIYA GILL in couple of songs with MOTTAI THALAI. In one song all the extras come with COOLING GLASS which you get for RS. 10 in RANGANATHAN STREET, T.NAGAR & VESTI, THUNDU and dance for a song. This is the first time ever I saw Extras dancing with COOLING GLASS.
The movie runs like this and another Major Major Major GALIJ Starts. AJITH Lover Priya Gill that is Manivannan's Daughter gets admission from University of Massachusetts for a One-Year M.S Program. Manivannan rejects the offer from UMAS because he cannot afford to pay fees for his daughter. AJITH who is a kind hearted person Pays her bills and she goes to US to do her MS. AJITH waits in India thinking that she will come and marry him. But it's the regular story. No One who flies to US will marry his or Her lover back home in India. No one wants to love a person who is like 15,000 Miles away and the COST of these kinds of 15,000 Miles LOVE is very expensive these days and no one is ready to afford those kinds of LOVE. Those kinds of LOVE Lasts only till MEENAMBAKKAM airport. Similarly AJITH's Love on Priya Gill Lasts for few days and then ends.
Priya Gill then returns home and Sees AJITH getting involved in a fight. She then decides to marry a guy who studied with him in the same University. The Regular UNIVERSITY LOVE STORY which happens every where around the globe. I really don't understand these University Love Out here. There will be few guys in every University who helps the Females to go to WALMART, KMART etc etc who will be having a 1980 Honda Civic. For him its hanging with those females and for those Females he will be a non-paid servant! HA HA HAHA! Then CLIMAX is a mixture of all these pieces. That is LOVE, AFFECTION, FIGHT etc. In the meantime a Story writer (RAJESH) starts to narrate his Character and that Story comes into picture to create more confusion and Irritation and the movie ends.
AJITH & PRIYA GILL:
I think AJITH is in height of "ARVA KOLARU" these days. Even the movie CITIZEN was kind of CRAZY one And without
VASUNDRA
DAS in that movie the movie would have been another GARBAGE. He
doesn't suit for these Kinds of characters and with MOTTAI and
Calling himself as RED (REVOLUTION, EDUCATION, DEVELOPMENT) etc
Etc. Hope he will not come up with another movie called
BLUE or ORANGE or PINK! Ha HA HA HA HA HA! The only
character he didn't do is "VILLAGE PANAYAR" Role. If he
does that that's it. We all can stop watching movies Renting
Video and wasting our time. Hope he will not come in a role like "18
PATTI KUM NAAN THAN PATALI" etc! Total Flop!
Nothing special to say about her. She looks OLD in Songs and she
lacks that charm Sweet heroines like SIMRAN, NAGMA,
MEENA, RAMBHA, NAGMA has. She comes and dances for
couple of songs and goes. The height of Irritation was that One
year Masters programs from UMAS. HA HA HA HA HA!!!!! LOLLU COMMENTS:
Its waste of time, Irritation and what not. If you don't like someone call him or her to home on a Good WEEK END And put this movie and ask them to watch 10 times. I don't know why young hero's want to shave their head and Act like rowdy, which doesn't suit them when Hero's from our Neighbor State act with a TOPA till age of 70 with Young Heroines who are 16 dancing with RED Coat! Nothing special to say. Most of the scenes which the movie Makers thought would be different and nice was just Fun and nothing. I think the hero and heroine of the movie Was making fun of them. I think they made a Comedy movie thinking that they are making a serious movie. The movie gets 25/100 for nothing.
