"ENTHIRAN" (ROBO) - NEW TAMIL MOVIE REVIEW BY "YOUR PRABHU"

Super Star Rajini In and as Robot in the latest super duper hit movie in the history of Indian Cinema. The movie stars Bollywood super heroine Aishwarya Rai, Santhanam, Karunas. The movie directed by South India’s super director SHANKAR and music by Legend A. R REHMAN. Enjoy my review on the latest Indian Block Buster “ENTHIRAN” (Robo)

STORY:

No one watches Rajini movie for story. We all watch Rajini movie for his screen presence. Robot is quiet different. It has an extremely good story line. First time in Indian cinema there is a movie with a good Science Fiction story which is very well done. Rajini (Vasigaran) is a scientist who is working on building a Robot (Chitti). He is successful in making a Robot that walks, jumps and does things Based on the instruction. Rajini’s girl friend Aishwarya Rai looks forward for some personal time with her boy friend (Vasigaran). She is unable to get any one on one time with Vasigaran as he is busy in building the Robot. In the mean time Chiiti (Robot Rajini) develops his friendship with Aishwarya. Rajini’s project gets rejected as the newly developed Robo lacks any human feelings. So Vasigaran releases another project a newer version of Chitti which will have human feelings as well. The movie takes a twist and the fun starts.

Chitti (Robot) has all the time in the world for Aishwarya Rai. He hangs around with her helps her to read for exams takes her out to movies, Pizza hut, buys her Subway sandwich, gives her bike ride, buys her tandori chicken, Pepsi, Coke, Beach, Park, Cinema etc etc. These days all the guys in India are just doing this. They spend most of the time to “Impress” their girl friend. Chitti is no exception to the modern age guys. Our poor Vasigarn who is not a typical “Guy” does not do any of the above stuff. Aish enjoys Chiit’s company. Everyday Chitti’s love towards Aish grows and Vasigaran gets pissed off about the new love and he decides to destroy Chiiti his own creation. Here comes Danny Danzappa the villan who does not appreciate the work of Rajini. Vasigaran who decides to destroy his work demolishes Chiiti and throws him in trash. Danny takes this as an opportunity and inserts a Bad chip into Chiiti who becomes the Villain (Bad Robot) of the movie. The Villain Rajini goes around and does what ever Danny says whose whole and sole intent is to destroy the work of Rajini. Mind blowing graphics take over the story from this point. From this point the story is all about how things settle with Aishwarya and Rajini and how the bad Rajini is destroyed by the scientist.

RAJINI:

Shankar before making this movie approached Sharuk Khan to act in the movie. Thank God that Shankar turned down the offer to stay in Bombay to make this movie. One thing is for sure. If there is any one else other than Rajini did this movie it would had been a waste of talent. This movie is a pure RAJINI movie and every frame in the movie thailivar lived to the expectation. There is no one other than Rajini in each frame of the movie. The Scientist Rajini acts humble and mature, the ROBO Rajini (Chitti) acts sharp and perfect like a ROBOT and the Villan Rajini was out of the world which imitates one of old RAJINI movie “MOONRU MUGAM”. It’s a treat for RAJINI fans like us to watch our super star in three characters. ONLY RAJINI can do such action without boring people. Rajini’s scene with Aishwarya Rai is another plus. Can’t believe Rajin is 61 years old and still can cope up with younger generation people like Aishwarya. Rajini proves that AGE is not a factor for his acting skills or acting with people like Aishwarya and still able to carry the same acting skills he did 40 years before. One thing is for sure. There is no one in Indian Cinema to compete or compare with RAJINI. People can come up with big names from Bollywood, Tollywood. You have to agree that Rajini stands way apart from those heroes. RAJINI is RAJINI and he has given his 100% in this movie. Just go and watch this movie and you can see for yourself.

AISHWARYA RAI:

She is the most gifted person in Bollywood. If there is one person other than SREE DEVI in Indian movie industry I would say its AISHWARYA RAI. No mention about how beautiful she is. The whole world knows about it. One has to see how well she acted in this movie. The dance sequence in Peru and Namibia was outstanding. As I said before she has been a dream girl for almost 15 years for almost all the people in India. Even 70 Year old “Perisu” from all over the world will put their Jaws down after seeing Aishu’s poster. Her moments to the dance songs in this movie are simply outstanding. Thanks to Prabhu Deva for his excellent choreography in this movie. Ash you are truly amazing. Thanks a lot for acting with Rajini in this movie. You have gone up one more step in your career by acting with our thalivar.

AR REHMAN, SHANKAR & SABU CRYIL:

Lets review this movies off screen hero’s the backbone of a movie like this. Many thanks to SUN Pictures for giving a movie like this. Sun Pictures is always a hero in the entertainment industry.

Rehman is another hero in this movie. India’s most versatile music director. His songs in this movie are out of the world. He said in an interview that he worked 22 hours a day to come up with tunes. No wonder he is India’s best music director. “Kilimanjaro” song was a class of Rehman and so was the song in Namibia desert. The other 2 Robot songs were great too. No questions about Rehman in this movie. Shankar is “The” director of India now. His movies are always outstanding. Right from Indian, Kadalan, Shivaji, Kadal, Mudalvan and today’s Robo he has proved his class. Indian movies need people like Shankar for the industry to reach the next level. He is almost our Stephen Spielberg of India. Sabu Cyril for his Camera work in this movie. My God outstanding location like Macchi Pucchu in Peru, Namibia Desert, Vienna Austria. No one can question what he has done in this movie. Great work. Indian’s top most talent all in one and you cannot expect anything more.

This movie is a must watch for everyone. NO EXCEPTION. Please don’t see this movie in DVD and small screen TV. This movie is not a regular T. Rajendar movie to just watch and laugh about. For those who decide to sit back in your home sofa please change your mind and hit the nearby theatre of drive down 200 miles for this movie to watch it. It’s worth every penny. Three RAJINI in action in this movie, Aishwarya Rai, A R Rehman, SHANKAR you cannot expect anything more. The movie is fabulous, excellent, Great, Good and what not. Don’t think that it’s a Sci Fiction movie and I am not a big fan of Sci Fiction movies. It’s a mixture of everything and with RAJINI acting in this movie you have no reason to stay back. For those who still want to watch it on line I have a lot of VHS tape of Suman, Murali, Vijayaganth. I will send them over to you if you give your address you can watch and enjoy them.
