STORY:
After a touching Family Subject Liniguswamy is back again with a College Rowdy / Love subject in RUN with MADHAVAN
and New
Face MEERA JASMINE. Madhavan who was having
continuo flops is back again with New Looks and the subject that
suits him in RUN. Yes the subject is Love subject. He comes from
SreeRangam to Madras for an interview and he is forced to stay
with his Sister Anuhasan and his Brother-in-law Rahuvaran. He
meets Meera in a Bus Stand and as usual a "Bus Stand"
Love Develops For him. He then roams in search of her and finds
her in a Railway Station. The first half hour of the movie
projects nothing but Madhavans LOVE JOLLU on MEERA
JASMINE and as usual she walks away saying no to
MADHAVAN's LOVE JOLLU. Now Villain gets introduced. Villain of the movie is MEERA's Brother. He is a Adiyal who roams around with 5 to 10 Rowdy's and his primary job is to fight with Guys who are in Love with his sister. He doesn't talk or anything like that and all he does Is cut hands or legs of person who Mess around with his sister. I think there are lots of people like this whose primary Job is to cut hands or break legs of people who love their sisters! Ok coming to story, MADHAVAN's JOLLU reaches its peak like meeting MEERA in Library etc ... and slowly she starts to show some signs and at the same time she is very scared of her brother. Her brother comes to know one fine day about his sister's love on Madhavan and gets really mad. He starts his revenge. He sends two of his adiyals as Security guards for her sister whereever she goes in Bike etc. But you all know LOVE IS LIKE GOD! Once a hero and heroine falls in love with each other, that too in a Love Movie likes this they will do anything. RUN is no exception. The later half of story is nothing but Fight between MEERA's brother and Madhavan and who wins the race!
MADHAVAN:
Madhavan impress us with a good performance again. He has lost lots of weight and looks trim. Initially I thought that Madhavan
and Rowdy movies
would not get along well. But he has done a good job in acting as
well as in Fight sequence. Keep in Mind that this movie is "NOT
GOOD HEART ROWDY HERO" Movie like DHEENA or RED or SREE
fortunately. He is just a rowdy who reciprocates to Villain.
MEERA JASMINE is a very good introduction and it's nice
to see a south Indian in Tamil movies. She is very pretty and
simple and her acting is good too. I never felt that she is a new
face in a new Tamil movie. She is slim and has a very pleasant
personality and comes in all those short Latest
"Chudis" and touch out Bottom heart. Ennathan

Nice to see a Good South Stat in Tamil movies. I am sick and

If Madhavan is the hero of the movie, "Vivek" is another HERO of the movie. It's really hard to say that Vivek Is a comedian. All his Jokes were really touch of Class. Especially the One where he Eats Biriyani in a road side hotel And shouts like a CROW. It seems that he has eaten Crow Briyani thinking that it's chicken Biriyani and comparing his voice With Unni Krishnan was too funny. Hats off to Vivek for giving us some Quality Comedy Sequence! I think RUN has all good quality of a Nice movie. MADHAVAN and Lover Boy is the best combination and this movie Proves again. MEERA JASMINE is a very good introduction and the songs by Vidhyasagar were too good to complain. Linguswamy Has proved again after his Anandham. Vivek comedy was too good. What else do you expect in a movie. RUN is a good Mixture of everything and the movie is worth movie to watch gets 60/100
