SIVAKASI is one typical Tamil Masala movie
that offers nothing but a Masala packed time pass movie. The
movie offers all that an average movieFan wants. Four Fight, Four
Songs, One Mother Sentiment, One Sister Sentiment, Couple of
songs in a foreign location etc etc. VIJAY's formulaIs always
going to work out because he does not want to take any risk and
that’s what the producers want."SIVAKASI" is a welder and he runs a shop in a busy area in Madras. The movie starts with a fight scene where a Villain locks VIJAY inside a Shop. Since VIJAY is a WELDER he welds the door and comes out of the shop and kicks all the villains. The funny part is in this movie when he fights Four or five VIJAY comes in the background and kicks the villains. We have seen many multi personality movies recently. This is not one of the multiPersonality movie but the "Multi VIJAY" comes only during the fights. ASIN who belongs to a rich family bumps into Vijay in that busy area and she falls
for VIJAY as one Rowdy in that area misbehaves with her. Then as usual a dream song in Switzerland gets over with Vijay doing various dance steps.
The love develops and ASIN's parents say that he has to bring his parents so that they can arrange for marriage. So Vijay leaves for his village After 20 long years to meet his family. A flash back shows why VIJAY is staying away from his family. His brother Prakash Raj is a stupid and greedy guy and on a Diwali day he lites a 1000 wala cracker and puts the blame on VIJAY etc etc. Its quiet unbelievable. He meets his Mom and Sister who has been ill-treated by his brother Prakash Raj. From this point the movie is just a Tit for tat between HIM and Prakash Raj. Only B and C center movie goers can
Enjoy the fight between them. Nothing special. The height is climax. He goes and fights between Fire and and again 5 to 6 VIJAY's come out of one VIJAY and fights with Villain. The Climax is he joins ASIN with with his family around. In between there are lots of political dialogs and stuff like VIJAY Supporting a candidate against Prakash Raj and her sister winning the election etc. NO BIG DEAL.
VIJAY, ASIN
As usual another VIJAY movie. People want to have some kind of entertainment. These days’ people don’t care and they don’t want to watch HERO worship movies. VIJAY is the only hero who offers that. So his movies are a hit regardless of what it offers. Other than that I can’t give much credit For acting. He brings few laughs here and there since he has handled the comedy track himself. ASIN is a big plus in the movie. She looks cute and slim And I think people will definitely like her. She has some good dance moments and people will like her for sure. The Comedy by CJ BHASKAR and CHIITY BABU just brings some irritation and nothing special to say. I think Chitty Babu is good in COMEDY TIME and can’t carry himself in a big movie. The funny Part is 5 to 6 VIJAY's appearing in one Fight and kicking the villains
