STORY:
In Tamil Movie world there are few subjects which are very familiar and risk free. You all know that One Subject is 'Love' Subject, which is very common. Right from 1935's till today it's the most famous subject. Recently there is another Subject, which is very
famous. "Rowdi Hero + Good Heart". It all
started in DHEENA and then came CITIZEN and them came "ARVA
KOLARU" Movie of the year "RED" and then
"VIKRAM's" SAMURAI etc. Almost all famous hero's have
done these kind of subject and now its time for newcomers without
any maturity to act in these kinds of roles. This time its Surya
in his new Movie "SREE". Its really funny to see Young
Hero who have done only Three to four movies overstepping to act
in Rowdi / Good Heart movies. The movie starts in a funny way where "ALL INDIA VILLAGE NATAMAI PRESIDENT" Vijayakumar doing "KARUMADI" for his son Surya who is still alive. Sree comes from a Respectable Iyer Family and he is from "Agraharam". He gets kicked out of Agraharam because of fight with a guy who was in love with his Sister. The movie has lots and lots of "TOO MUCH" Scene like a "SONG PRAISING" Surya's Good Heart! HA HA HA HA HA !!!!!! Hold on a Second! I think you will see these kinds of songs in Vijayaganth's movies where he walks in Vesti and girls will throw Flowers and sing a Song praising him. I think this is too much for Surya !!!! It's funny to see these kinds of "ARBATAM". Coming to the story line he goes and kicks people who get bribe, Conduct Marriage for poor etc etc and all those Hero worship things.
His Dad Vijaya Kumar tries to Pull him into trouble but where ever he goes people say good about SREE ! SREE Is Good , SREE is Great, SREE is a Nice Person, SREE is like God etc etc. All these dialogs after hearing and after watching Surya bring nothing but Laughter. A Flash back comes and explains why Surya became a rowdi from an IYER boy. Its the same old story to save his Sister and to save his family people he gets into unnecessary trouble with a Local Dada and his dad who does not like his son to become like that Gets him out of the house.
In this confused story there are two heroines. "IMSAI" Gayathri Jayraram comes and talks some crap and says later that she is a Good friend of Sree and she also advice us what is meant by true Friendship etc. Sruthika (Grand Daughter of Late 'Thengai' Srinivasan is another one and nothing special to say about her too. The climax is in court where his Dad "ALL INDIA NATAMAI PRESIDENT" says how much he loves his son and what his son really mean to him etc etc which was really good! Sree Vidhya as usual was good and the movie ends!!!!
SURYA:
I think for Surya its too early to do a movie like this when Its really difficult to see Senior Artist in these kinds of roles. The height of "KODUMAI" was the Guys who hang around with him !! Every one were looking like Direct import from Tamil Nadu T.B Hospital and they call themselves as Rowdi and Adiyals. Just imagine Suray in between those 10 Adiyals who call SREE SREE every other minute. "GAYATHRI JAYARAM" who never impressed me in any of her movies is another "HEIGHT OF IMSAI". She has gained lots and lots of weight and does do anything good in this movie. I think the name "SRUTHIKA" is really cute. Other than that 'Thengai' Srinivasan's Grand daughter looks like "FEMALE version of Thengai' - NO TALENT. God save us and bring more SIMRAN, NAGMA, MEENA to Tamil Field. Atleast if the movie is not good we can see those Heroines! Other than that nothing special.
