"THALI KATHA KALIAMMAN" New Tamil Movie Review By Your Prabhu

STORY:

The movie is not exactly a Devotional Thriller as the name says that its something to do with "Amman" or "Thali". The movie has a story like a normal movie but at the end they introduce a Amman Dance and saves "Thali" of the heroine so that it will pull the female crowd with a fancy name.

The movie starts like a normal devotional movie. PRABHU is a painter and he paints an AMMAN picture. Suddenly it disappears. To find out the Whereabouts of the Amman he goes to a village with his cousin Pandiyarajan. He meets out "All India chappa Figure Assn. President" Kousalya. A flash back comes as Manoramma says about the sad thing that happened to Kousalya in her life. It seems that the village where they are living didn't get "Rain" for 12 years and the Stupid people in that village thing that its because of Kousalya's mom they didn't get rain for 12 Years. They really don't care about the Weather Channel and Stuff. So they decide to do a "KANNI PADAI" function in that village. For those who does not know what is meant by "KANNI PADAI", Its a function in which a "KANNI PONNU" must sit in a "PADAI" without Dress and the people of that village will take that female all around so that RAIN will pour. I don't know how Crazy these people are to conduct a KANNI PADAI in 21st Century. PRABHU gets into the scene and fights against this and marry Kousalya.

When Prabhu was about to do 'JALSA' with Kousalya in his first night, Sangavi gets introduced saying that she is his lover and because of her Dad the love didn't work out between Prabhu and Sangavi. Prabhu got kicked from Sangavi's dad and Sangavi killed herself who cannot take the love failure and Prabhu forgot everything for Two years. Sangavi who cannot take that Love failure roams in the form of "AAVI". Prabhu who is so much attached to his new wife Kousalya advice to that "AAVI" that no way iI can be a your Husband. Now the real competion starts. "Sangavi" who is a aavi tries to get into Kousalya's body so that she can satisfy her needs from her X-Boy friend Prabhu. In this process she finds that the "THALI" that Prabhu tied to Kousalya was "KALIAMMAN"s THALI and she is not able to get into Kousalya's body because of that AMMAN's THALI. Here is how the director has given a link between the story and the title. Now the evil tries to gets in the body by removing THALI from Kousaly's neck and BHANUPRIYA who is KALLIAMMAN comes with VEL and AMMAN Costume and kills Sangavi and the movie ends!

PRABHU, KOUSALYA, SANGAVI:

Out of the above three SANGAVI was looking really good in this movie. I don't know what made her to look so good. One can see a beautiful Sangavi in this movie. Kousalya is fit for acting in movies as a Dinosaur. She exactly looks like Jurassic Park "Dinosaur" from all angles. PRABHU is one good artist who is trying to stay in Tamil Industry with great competition form Young artist. He has stepped down from doing First grade movies to third and second grade movies like this which makes some impact on people. At least people will not forget him!

These days there are increasing number of AMMAN movies released. They say that there are lots and lots of Graphics in the movie. I don't know who want to see those STUPID Graphics they show in movies. Also these directors follow Cheap sentiments like Showing "THALI" and naming movies with "THALI" names etc. Few days back there was a rumor saying that "THALI" in one of the Goddess fell down and all the females must Tie a "YELLOW KNOT" in their THALI. If they don't do so there will be possibility that their Husbands will die. After hearing this news the YELLOW KNOT price went by 500%,

The movie name itself is a good example what the movie is about. Its a "KALI AMMAN WHO SAVED THALI" of her devotee. I don't know why PRABHU want to act in such a crazy movie. SANGAVI was too good in this movie with her sexy looks ! Kousalya must get lost from the industry and the right place for her is there in VANDALUR ZOO as Dinosaur. It seems that the ZOO officials are looking for an INDIAN Dinosaur. All that she has is a BIG EYES in her face and other than that she does not have a single asset to be called as an heroine. The height of comedy is who is "BOTHERED ABOUT THALI OF KOUSALYA WHEN WE DONT CARE ABOUT HER". If its going to be GOOD and SEXY figures THALI like Aishwarya Rai or Preity Zintha's THALI we will care and we can fight with that EVIL and get her back that "THALI". God please save us. This movie is worth only 25/100 that too for SANGAVI's sexy looks.
