"Ilaya Thalapathi" Vijay, Priyanka Chopra, Revathi, Nasser, Ashish Vidyarthi, Vivek in a new Revolutionary Tamil movie Thamizan. Music by "Imaan: and the movie directed by "Majeed".Enjoy my review on Thamizan.
STORY:
Vijay is a Law college student who lives with his Sister Revathi and Brother In law Naseer. As usual he has few friends who roams with him. The Same old "Kadaluku Mariyathai" Friends who hangs with him in Bike's. As usual he falls in Love with "Priyanka
Chopra". The first one-hour of the movie
projects him as a Play boy who roams here and there to earn his
Lover (Priyanka Chopra's) Love. In this Process they introduce
some new term called "LUB DUB FOBIYA". For those who
does not know what is meant by LUB DUB FOBIYA its very
simple. Give a Balloon to your lover and ask her To fill
it with Air and bring it to home. Take the same balloon unties it
and blow air again and tie it. There will be a Reaction when You
Blow the Balloon again for the lover. This Reaction, which is
created when the Other Person Blows the Balloon is called
"LUB DUB FOBIYA". I am pretty sure that people in
college are hanging out with Balloons in hand to play this new
game. The two sings couple of duets as usual.Vijay who is a playboy gets advice from his sister Revathi joins a Law firm to practice law. Suddenly he gets Revolutionary feelings about Country and decides to Pay back Country's Debits. The transformation from a College boy to Patriotic Boy was handled silly. So he forms and Organization and Pays back Country's 50% of Debits. From this point the Movie is a Copy of INDIAN. He gets hold of people who creates trouble. He teaches basic Laws to public so that everyone Knows their rights. For example an Auto Driver says his LAW CODE and its description to a Police Constable who asks 5 Rs in bribe. In the meantime he comes across AASHISH VIDYARTHI who is villain. Aashish Fires all his employees for money And Vijay appears in court against his case and earns his anger. So the villain was looking for the right time to attach him and Gets hold of his sister Revathi. To end the movie Its the fight between His gang and Vijay and a Court scene etc etc and The movie ends.
LOLLU COMMENTS:
Vijay is the only person who gives something in his movies these days. So his movies are overexpeceted movies. Thamizan is also one such movie which was over expected. He does his job in many places but there was lack of everything In the movie. Probably because of Songs and music which was not up to INDIAN mark. There was a good message in the Movie. Priyanka Chopra was not great and there was no chance in the movie for her to act except for the first one hour Where they were talking about LUB DUB FORBIYA etc etc. After "Aishwarya Rai" we are still looking for a good Miss Universe. VIJAY's Stunt Action was as usual and I don’t know how long he will roam around with his Four Friends. VIVEK's Comedy was horrible and not even One sequence was enjoyable. Aashish Vidyarthi was boring and didn’t make even 1% Impact like he made in movies like DIL and THAMIZ. Vijay's Mass Pulling Scene's were too much and I think it’s too early for a growing artist. Songs and tunes where almost> Forgettable and no song or songs stand in your heart. So all together it’s another movie and nothing special from Ilaya Thalapathi, Gets 40/100 for few good actions by Vijay.
