STORY:

Thenavan is probably one of the "MAJOR GALIJ" movies I have watched this year. Only Vijayaganth can act in movies like This. Unfortunate thing for hero’s like Vijayaganth, Sarath Kumar is they cannot act in LOVE Subject anymore and they refuse to act as DADDY or GRANDPA. Even though they are in 50's they want to sing Duets with Heroines, Run behind heroines And shake their hips with Dark Cooling Glass with their Colorful SEVEN Color Coat and want to fight like JAMES BOND 007 kicking the villains. So these hero’s cannot act like Young Hero nor Old Daddy. So they are forced to do Police or Politician Roles. One such movie is Vijayaganth's THENAVAN.

The Story of the movie is. Vijayganth gets picked up by Prime Minister of India as Chief Election Commissioner seeing his Ability to tackle Bombay Dada's in a straight forward approach. For a change this time it’s Election Commissioner instead of Police Officer. He meets KIRAN in a Train and he treats her father from Heart Attack giving a Chocolate and explains that it’s all in the mind And even Chocolate can cure a Heart Attack. Seeing his ability of Curing Heart Attack giving a Chocolate KIRAN falls in Love with Vijayaganth. He then sworn in as CEC of Tamil Nadu and brings in FIVE new Rules to Improve the way the Elections are conducted. These Rules irritates the Local Chief Minister of the state NASSAR and Backfires on Him.

There are Hot Fire Vijayaganth Style Dialogs in this movie like, "Mudiyadu Enra Varthai En Munadi Soladhey" etc etc. In One Scene a Police bends down before Vijayaganth and Vijayaganth says, "Un Thopiyil Irukum ASHOKA Chakaram Vanathai Than Parkonom Tharaya Parka Koodathu", PULLU ARIKUDUDA !!!! I think its really funny to watch these kind of movies especially when The weather is really cold we can sit and Watch these movies and Laugh till you fall out of the bed. Coming to the Story Villains try to Kick Vijayaganth and in this process Comes MATRIX Style Fight. Vijayaganth kicking the villains standing in terrace of his house in MATRIX Style. That is holding his hands in one of the IRON Rods and Flying from other side and Kicking 10 Villains at the same time Doing Balties in the Air!!! In the meantime to add a Song to the movie KIRAN comes and asks Vijayaganth when he is going to marry Her etc. In this process couple of Dream Songs comes and as always it’s really funny to see Vijayaganth dream songs. He wears Colorful coats like a SEVEN COLOR BALL and dances with KIRAN!! Koduma da !! Comedy is all extras are also wearing same colorful Coat with cooling glass.

Coming to Climax. NASSAR who is the chief minister gets arrested and he goes to jail because of Vijayaganth. He does some Computer Recording and with help of 'ZOOM Option' he presents a Video tape to the judge. Don’t ask what ZOOM option is!!! That’s What they say sitting before computer in the movie. NASSAR appoints his wife Oorvashi as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and it becomes A total mess. Vijayaganth fights with the Prime Minister and asks him not to count election results. In the confusion he resigns his Chief Election Commissioner Job and Fights with the CM and wins the race Addressing a Crowd of about 1,00,000 people and the movie ends.

VIJAYAGANTH, KIRAN:

I think Vijayaganth is in height of ARVA KOLARU. I think he has reached his peak in "ARVA KOLARU". KIRAN Looks Like a "PALLU PUDUNGANA PAMBU". When She Dress up She looks like a "PAINT ADICHA PAMBU". I don’t know when there are Thousands of Good Looking heroines when they want to make her act in movies. Many scenes she looks like a Weird BOMBAY KEZAVI! The height in the movie is Vijayaganth's fight. He gets hold of some IRON rod (The Rod which we use to Hang Cloths after Washing In India) and Kicks Villains like MATRIX Movie and his RAINBOW Color Dress in Dream Songs.

LOLLU COMMENTS:

Movies like this has to be released once in a while so that we can laugh and we can forget everything and anything in the world Although everything in the movie is to boost their Own Image among the public. For example Vijayaganth in this movie says about Some "PADAI". He says En PADAI Periya PADAI. En ANAIKAGA Kathu Kidakum PADAI. Initially I thought that it was something related to Some Skin Issue But Later found out that PADAI means People. All the scenes in the movie were made to project the HERO as a Big Guy and it was clear That the hero wants to run CM or PM soon !! God Save us! It will be nice if directors avoid KIRAN in movies !! No one can stand her! The movie gets 25/100.
