STORY:
I would say, "Taking Comedy movies is the hardest thing in this world". When you watch comedy movies You heart feels
good and once you are done with the movie
you feel really good and you don't repent for the time You have
spent. Of Late movies in Tamil were all "Hero Worship"
Movies and no importance were given to Comedy Or Story line.
"Thenkasipatanam" is a very different story line, which
comes from KERALA, which offers High Quality Comedy and makes you
feel really good. Sarath Kumar and Napoleon are Good Friends. They roam in their Village with Really really Dark Black Cooling Glass Which you get in T NAGAR Ranganathan Street White Vesti and RED or BLUE color Shirt and they Project themselves as Hero's In that Village, roaming here and there in their Lorry. Although they are Successful in their business they are not worried about Anything in life. Basically they are "VALARNDHA KUZANDAIGAL". They don't think about their marriage. It was really funny To See Napoleon in that Costume and the way he dance with that well grown DADI was really funny. "MARATHU ADIYULA KILI JOZIYAM PARKARAVAN MADIRI" Irundan.
In their Life come two Girls, Swamuktha Varma who is from the same village and another one is Devayani who is a Singer. Vivek gets into the Picture as Manager of the Company who is love with Sarath's Sister. The LAUGH starts from the point Vivek gets Introduced and it never stops. I was laughing so loud that I even called few of My Friends and started to explain about the Comedy Sequence in the movie. Vivek's comedy was so good that you even forget about the Good Story line in the movie.
In one Scene Vivek refers Napoleon as "KOZIKU MASALA THADAVI VITTA MADIRI IRUKINGO"... I could not digest That
Laughter. I was Just Imagining a CHICKEN
which is Spread with MASALA for Marinating before making Chicken
65 and Napoleon! God it was tooooo Funny. The Laugh
reaches its peak when Vivek and Charlie comes to Sarath's house
with a Cow Skin on them and pretending like a Cow. Oh God! I
think its one of the best Comedy Sequence I have seen in the past
5 years. The height of Comedy was "KUMARI
MUTHU" trying to MILK the COW that is Vivek and Charlie and
Vivek blowing up a Glove etc! I saw the sequence 10 times and I
think I will see it 10 more times. The Story has some nice twists like Sarath and Napoleon misunderstanding whom they are going to marry. The Climax was also very strong and till the last moment they never gave their True friendship for the Girls! The movie Ends with lots and lots of laughter and your heart feels really light after this movie. I called many of my Friends after Watching this movie!

It's nice to see Sarath in comedy roles. Hero-worship and Sarath does not go along very well. They have Acted very well. Although Napoleon was looking really funny with his beard he has done his job very well. What else Can you expect from Napoleon? Vivek was the real hero of the movie with his funny dialogs and he is the best comedy Actors we have right now who can really make us laugh. His comments about village people were really touch of class. Devayani and Samuktha Varma were really good. MALAYALAM movies are known for its quality. They make good Movies with nice mixture. Although 'ThenkasiPattanam' is a remake of a Malayalam movie the Quality remains the same As the original version. I would strongly recommend watching this movie and laugh for a while. The movie gets 65/100 For providing the best comedy sequence
