UNARUGIL NANIRUNDHAL - NEW TAMIL MOVIE REVIEW
PARTHIBAN as "RICKY MARTIN" , "KANNAZAGI" MEENA, "THODAI AZAGI" RAMBHA, MANORAMA, ANAND RAJ, VIYAPURI, VADIVELU in a different story line "UNARUGIL NANIRUNDHAL". Direction by SELVA and Music by DEVA. Enjoy my review.

STORY :
The story starts with a "SAVU DANCE" in KULALAMPUR, MALASIYA as our hero PARTHIBAN dreams about RAMBHA. He is a TAXI Driver. Half hour of movie runs with Usual PARTHIBAN GALIJ with usual GILLI, GOLI JOKES and One more TAXI DRIVER, SAVU DANCE with an Extra which was Good. Meanwhile Anand Raj takes MEENA's House and her father dies in heart attack. MEENA happens to meet PARTHIBAN and she asks for a ride in his taxi to carry her father. PARTHI scares homely MEENA by drinking and eating BAROTTA on his way to and asking MEENA to eat BARROTA and PAYA when she is having her Dear Father in the TAXI and crying. That's Highlight of Parthiban. Now Villan comes into picture and he says that he will not allow the body unless MEENA pays the Debits. PARTHI who hears the fight and out of his kind heart says that he will give his TAXI till the debits are cleared and stays in MEENA's place.
Now the actual story starts as PARTHIBAN giving Helpless and Homely MEENA a moral support in many occasions and at the same time continuing his Style Galij. Especially the scene he goes to Arrack Shop and his dialogs with Vadivelu and coming home and threatening MEENA! Excellent job Parthi Slowly MEENA starts her LOVE with PARTHIBAN in a homely manner.
"PATHRA KADIYELE YANNAI PUGUNDA MATHRI" ( Like An Elephant Inside T.NAGAR SARAVANA STORES or RATNA STORES) the story takes a twist as PARTHIS Dream Girl RAMBHA comes to the Village to shoot a picture and they select MEENA's house for Shooting their picture which was quite unnecessary for a Superb story line. Unnecessary Dream song with PARTHIBAN in RAMBHA Style showing everything (Included Thighs, Front end, Back end, Up end, Down End etc etc)...
MEENA gets irritated with PARTHI's JOLLU towards RAMBHA and trying to express her LOVE but our PARTHI who really loves MEENA not able to express his LOVE and competition between MEENAS Homely LOVE and PARTHIS Roudy LOVE makes us to slap PARTHIBAN who cannot understand a simple expression of a girl. At the end MEENA get engaged to an MLA son and PARTHI trying to express his LOVE and a MARRIAGE HALL CLIMAX and the movie ends as the MLA sons true color comes to the picture and MENNA and PARTHI joins

PARTHIBAN:
The only guy who is improving day by day in KODAMBAKKAM is PARTHIBAN. Extremely Good in his acting and he impressed me as a ROUDY TAXI DRIVER, as a Drunken Man who has lots of Love and not able to express his Love and as a JOLLU HERO of his Dream star. Especially the places he says to MEENA,
EDHO AJIT, ABBAS, ARAVINDA SWAMY Nan VELAYA ILLANALUM .... .... with a sad face.
PARTHIBAN i want to say one thing. Its not necessary for you to feel bad about it, because you have more fans than AJIT OR ABBAS or ARAVINDA SWAMY and you are far better actor in any aspect when compared to AJIT or "99999" ABBAS or ARAVINDA SWAMY. Only you can give films like "BARATHI KANNAMA" or "PUDIYA PATHAI" or "ULLE VELIYE" or "SWARNAMUKI" or "PONDATI THEVAI" .Keep in Mind that "DENSAL WASHINGTON" was the sexiest man in 1996 when "TOM CRUSE" was at the Top.

I think "MEENA" is a ADYAR "ANANDA BAVAN" Mixture or "SOWCARPET" AGARWAL Mixture of all the above. She looks extremely extremely Beautiful. No questions asked. Especially these homely Characters. After RADHA and REVATHI i think she is the first female to do homely roles. As usual she has done an excellent job in this movie too.

PARTHIBAN PUNCH:
1. "SAVU DANCE" in Malasiya Downtown with both is hands perpendicular to his body with all his 10 fingers pointing us like Sun rays with a sweater in his hips.
2. Asking MEENA to eat BAROTTA and PAYA when her Father is lying dead in a taxi and asking MEENA 100 Rs to drink when Cremation was about to take place
3. Degrading himself comparing to AJIT, ABBAS and ARAVINDA SWAMY and at the same time getting deep into our hearts. Excellent job Parthiban.

LOLLU COMMENTS:
These days new directors are doing a better job. Example SELVA has done an excellent job in this movie. Instead of seeing the same old LOVE subject with two songs, three fights. MEENA looks like "MADURAI MEENATCHI AMMAN" SILAI. Especially in "KANCHI COTTON SAREE" and "SIRKALI SUNGUDI" SAREE or BOMBAY "BELL BOTTOM PANTS" !
I am so used to hearing "KAMBA RAMAYANAM", "MAHABARATHAM", "NALA VENBA", "KANDA PURANAM", from our famous singers T.K KANABAAL, T.L. RAJA KUMARI till to days JENNET JACKSON, MICHEL JACKSON etc etc .... But i think if i here ANURADHA SREERAMS voice with DEVA's music i feel really happy. Especially after I met her in ATLANTIC CITY last year in ALL AMERICA TAMIL CONFERENCE and the few Minutes i spoke to her I will remember it till my life end. In this movie My ALL STAR JENNET JACKSON "ARU RADHA SREE RAM" has proved to be the best. MY LOVE FOR U WILL BE THERE FOR WHAT EVER COMES OUT OF YOUR MOUTH.
I want to conclude, But i cant. I was so impressed with MEENA's BEAUTY, not that i am a JOLLU, She is a beauty. PARTHIBAN with his ROUDY/ACTING. Even comedy by VIVEK, VADIVELU and VIYAPURI made us laugh. A quite unnecessary Cinema Shooting story came in the middle but that was ok. I Grade this movie to be a "AAAA" CLASS Movie. If some one ask me "UNARUGE NANIRUNDAL" I would definitely think of being with MEENA or ANURADHA SREE RAM. I hearty grade this movie to 80/100. Please write to me what ever you feel.
