KANN THEDUTHEY" New Tamil Movie Review By "Your
Prabhu"

President" Kushboo, "U.S. Return" Livingston,
Ravali, Vivek, Manivannan, Senthil, 'Kovai' Sarala, Mansur Ali
Khan, 'Delhi' Ganesh in a new Comedy / Thriller "Unni Kann
Theduthey". Music by 'Then Isai Thendral' Deva and Directed
by C. Sundar. Enjoy my review on New Tamil Movie "Unnai Kann
Theduthey".
STORY:
The Story starts like Hum Apke Hain Koun or Kuch Kuch Hotha Hain
with Lots and Lots of Stars and everyone talking "Iyer"
Language
in a marriage hall for a US Return Guys Sister Marriage. I think
the movie was taken for two reasons.
1. To Spoil the image of Guys coming to India for Vacation from
USA
2. Make fun of "Iyer" Slang and Iyer Mamis
The Story starts as LIVINGSTON comes from USA for his sisters
Marriage. The way he projects himself was really funny, He says
that he does not have More than 2 days of vacation as he is busy
developing Software's for New York Stock Exchange. Kushboo gets
introduced as Wife of Livingston and who takes care of the
marriage. Lots of Characters gets introduced in first 15 minutes
of the movie. SATYARAJ comes as a Cook for that marriage
function. First one hour of the movie goes really nice with lots
and lots of fast actions and comedy by Vivek. The height of
irritation was MANIVANNAN holding a Liquor bottle and MANIVANNAN
and SENTHIL talking "IYER LANGUAGE" like MAMI ANTHA
PANJA PATHRAM KONDU VARELA and SENTHIL Replying for that
in IYER SLANG. How can we accept MANIVANNAN and SENTHIL to be
Iyers and talking Iyer Language !! Logam Ketudici da Swamy !!!
Ravali who is daughter of Head Chef "Manivannan" falls
in Love with Satyaraj after seeing his talents in handling the
Marriage crowd. Sings couple of duets in "Tamil
Cinema Style". Hope everyone knows what's a duet in
"Tamil cinema Style". A Hero will be dancing in
front of a Temple. In the background there will be lots and lots
of Stone Statues and the heroine will come in Baradanatiyam Dress
and Dance in front of the "Stone Statues". Normally
these kinds of songs are taken in "V.G.P. Golden Beach"
or "Silver Sands". If you are not able to get the exact
picture of Tamil Cinema Style Duets look at the above picture of
Satyaraj and Ravali dancing in VGP GOLDEN BEACH. The
story runs like this and I really wondered how C.SUNDAR was able
to give a story with such good flow.
The flow stops when Satyaraj says that he is not a COOK
and he is a COP from LAPD. (Los Angeles Police Department)
and he has come in search of a female who killed a person and he
suspects that KUSHBOO is the culprit. Then as usual a flash back.
A Guy tries to have fun with Kushboo and she kills her and throws
him in a river and Kushboos THALI was in that dead body. Then
Satyaraj starts his investigation and good thrilling scenes and
Kadi Scene comes and the movie gets over as LIVINGSTON
and KUSHBOO boards Lufthansa Flight No LH 154 to Frankfurt as
SATYARAJ gives Green signal to KUSHBOO.

KUSHBOO & LIVINGSTON:
After "Ennama Kannu's" Success Satyraj has come out
with a good performance in this movie although he has overacted
in many 
places. KUSHBOO comes out with one more great
performance as she always does in other movies. Although
everything seems to be oversized she looks really cute.
KUSHBOO is really a KUSHBOOOOOOOO !!!! Another
Irritation was Livingston. He says that he does not have vacation
and everything is Fast in USA and he wants his Sister's marriage
to be done in Two days because he has tight project work
in USA and he is a green card holder Oka Makka !!! Dai
Koladingada !!! I don't know who gave project for
LIVINGSTON in USA. I want to meet that Project Manager. RAVALI is
another "CHAPPA FIGURE" which is not worth of
commenting !
LOLLU COMMENTS:
Another Movie for Satyaraj, Kushboo and C. Sunder. Comedy by
Vivek was excellent. The movie started with a good Family
Marriage environment but slipped badly after that. The suspense
was maintained well in the movie and it was quite a decent story
line. I think the director intended to make fun of IYER SLANG.
One more thing was famous Extra dancers like BABELONA, ALPHONSA
were dressed in IYER MAMI STYLE and they were also talking like "ENN
ANNA" was total comedy. How can one see BABELONA and
ALPHONSA in Iyer Mami style. I think if this continuos then
"MUMTAJ" will come as IYER MAMI in next film
and say " KATI KONGA NAAAA" !!!Even SENTHIL and
MANIVANNAN are IYERS. How can once take it.
KUSHBOO as usual was excellent and no doubt She is a great
actress. A decent story and for sure the movie is a decent one
although it lacks something. C.SUNDER has come up again with a
decent story line. The movie is worth 50/100 for a good
decent story line. Nothing special about Deva's Music.
