"VANAVIL" New Tamil Movie review by "Your Prabhu"

"Action King" Arjun, Abhirami, "Psycho" Prakashraj, Manivannan, Lakshmi in a new Tamil movie "VANAVIL" Music by "Copy Isai Thendral" Deva and Directed by "Manoj Kumar". Enjoy my review on Latest Patriotic / Action / Triangle Love movie by Action King "ARJUN" in VANAVIL.

STORY:

To Project Heroine as a model girl the story starts in a different way in a Railway Station. Heroine "Abhirami" walks in MADRAS CENTRAL Railway Station wearing a Yellow Color T-shirt showing Half of her Front end and her Hips in a Jam Packed Crowd exposing everything. A Jollu who is standing in the Station comes at 80 Miles per hour and bangs at her. In Physics its called as HEAD TO HEAD collusion. But that Jollu Who banged her misses her Front end. Our Heroine Starts her dialogs. She asks that Jollu "Do you know why i am walking exposing my Body", "Do You know why I Expose my Hips" !!! Its all for people like you to come and Bang and makes a big scene. I never knew that People who walk with Yellow T-shirt and Jeans walk for Banging with people !! Kalam Ketuduchida !!!

It seems that Abhirami is going to DELHI to finish her IAS Exams. Hero ARJUN boards the same Train and in the same Compartment. "Psyco" Prakashraj boards the same train and same compartment too. After a chat they come to know that all the three are going to Delhi to write IAS exams and they are going to study together. In the mean time ARJUN advice a beggar in railway station not to beg and do some work. He gives 250 RS for that Beggar and asks him to Buy KUMUDAM, KALKANDU, ANANDA VIKATAN and sell and live with that Profit. Seeing ARJUN's Soft heart on the beggar heroine Falls in Love with ARJUN. This kind of LOVE that Develops after seeing HERO's Soft Heart on Beggar is called as "BEGGAR LOVE". Meanwhile Psycho "Prakashraj" falls in LOVE with the Heroine.

After this point the real Story starts to take lots and lots of turns. There are 100's of Flash back's. I think one can make Five different movies out of this story. One flash back is "ARJUNS VILLAGE LIFE". It seems that he is a Farmer and he fights for Village people Welfare and goes to Jail. This affects His IAS Results. He had made a Promise that without becoming an IAS he will not return back to his village. So he stays in his GIRL FRIENDS place and plays with Her Sister who is doing her 10th Grade like Lifting her etc. I don't know why Movie Hero's wants to life GIRL FRIENDS sister to show that they are very affectionate to that family. There is one more Flash back. That 10th Grade Chick had some problem with her Class mates. They play a game and when the result comes her Number was not printed in the list because of her class mates. She suicides and Arjun after knowing the reason Kills her Class mate and Goes to Jail. There is one more Flash back of Arjun in Jail.

Now to link all these Small stories is the climax. Arjun wants to become an IAS, Heroines Love on Arjun, Arjun's love on Heroine, Prakash Raj One side Love on heroine, Arjuns Girl Friends Sister Suicide etc etc etc. I think the director got Confused and the ultimate comedy was bringing in "ARATAI ARANGAM" in Climax. SPB gets introduced as Judge. Visu comes in SUN TV and some how they finished the movie as ARJUN and Heroine ties Knot !

ARJUN, ABHIRAMI & PRAKASH RAJ:

ARJUN has done his job but I always feel that something is missing eventhough everything will be there in his movies. But he has started to advice people in movies which is odd. "ABHIRAMI" is a good Looking new face. Her initial scenes were way too much but gets settled well in the movie later. Coming to PRAKASH RAJ, I don't know why he overacts in his movies doing the same Psycho roles. I don't know how he can fall in LOVE with someone at the age of 45. I think he needs to stop his over action !

LOLLU COMMENTS:

The movie all together is confusing one. The director has tired to do everything in one shot. How can one implement Patriotic, Three way love, Action in one single movie. Songs are not pleasant. New face "ABHIRAMI" can shine if she acts. But only one request. Please don't play with your Girl Friends Sisters like Lifting them and cutting Jokes like in this movie. "VANAVIL" is a movies which is a Confused version of five of six stories with lots and lots of unanswered questions.. The movie is worth 40/100.
